One month later

Jungkook roamed the crowded school halls, searching for his best friend- Taehyung. He didn't know why he felt such an urgency to find him, but he couldn't shake the feeling. He peeked into classrooms and scanned the cafeteria, hoping to catch a glimpse of Taehyung's bright smile.

"Where could he be?" Jungkook muttered to himself.

As he turned a corner, he spotted Yoongi walking towards the basketball court.

"Yoongi!" Jungkook called the male who turned back, stopping on the track

Jungkook jogged over to him "Have you seen Taehyung?" he asked Yoongi

"Yeah, I saw him walking towards the library" Yoongi replied monotonously

"Library?" The raven head asked stunned "What the hell is he doing in Library? That boy never studies....what happened to him now?" he was baffled

"He is with Min Kyu," Yoongi said noticing how Jungkook's expression changed

"ah- uh...I guess he might be helping him with study" Jungkook spoke like he was trying to explain himself. The mention of Min Kyu's presence was making him feel uneasy

"They both are not good at studying, they could have asked for your help, anyways I'm leaving I have my practice" Yoongi left, increasing Jungkook's insecurity

Jungkook's steps felt heavy as he made his way toward the library, his heart sinking with each passing moment. He couldn't shake off the feeling that had settled in his chest since Yoongi's revelation. As he pushed open the library doors, his eyes darted around the room, searching for any sign of Taehyung.

And then he saw them.

Taehyung was seated at a table with Min Kyu, a stack of books between them. Jungkook's heart twisted painfully as he watched them chatting and laughing, completely absorbed in each other's company. He couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about, what jokes they were sharing, and what made Taehyung so happy in Min Kyu's presence.

For a moment, Jungkook just stood there, watching them, feeling like an outsider in his own friendship. He couldn't bear the thought of interrupting them or forcing himself into their conversation. So instead, he turned on his heel to leave the library, feeling more dejected than ever before.

But before he could, a girl approached him. "Hey Jungkook, can you please please help me with these notes?" Maria, Taehyung's class representative asked, holding out her textbook. 

Jungkook forced a smile and nodded, trying to hide the turmoil inside. "Sure, no problem," he replied, they both sat a little far away from where Taehyung was sitting but enough for Jungkook to have a look at them. Taking the textbook from Maria's outstretched hand. He tried to focus on the pages in front of him, but his mind kept drifting back to Taehyung and Min Kyu.

As he helped Maria with her notes, he couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that consumed him. He had always known that he had feelings for Taehyung, but he had never acted on them, too afraid of ruining their friendship. But seeing Taehyung with someone else, seeing how happy he was with someone who wasn't Jungkook, was almost too much to bear.

As they worked, Jungkook's mind raced with thoughts and doubts, wondering if he had missed his chance, if he should have spoken up sooner. But as he looked up at Maria, he realized that she was still waiting for his help. He took a deep breath and tried to focus on the task at hand, pushing aside his feelings for Taehyung, at least for now.

Taehyung was talking with Min Kyu, his eyes wandered around the library and he saw a familiar figure with a girl. He squinted his eyes to get a better look and noticed that it was Jungkook with Maria, the class representative.

Taehyung's heart sank at the sight. He couldn't believe that he was feeling jealous over Jungkook talking to a girl. He tried to focus back on Min Kyu, but his mind kept wandering to Jungkook and Maria.

"What's wrong?" Min Kyu asked, noticing Taehyung's distracted expression.

"Nothing," Taehyung muttered, trying to hide his jealousy.

But he couldn't help but steal glances at Jungkook and Maria, wondering what they were talking about. He tried to listen to Min Kyu's conversation, but his mind kept drifting off.

"Hey, are you sure you're okay?" Min Kyu asked, placing his hand on Taehyung's shoulder.

Taehyung flinched at the touch and quickly composed himself. "I'm fine, just a little tired," he said, forcing a smile.

But his eyes kept darting towards Jungkook and Maria, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of jealousy and unease. He didn't know what was happening to him, but he knew he couldn't keep ignoring these strange emotions.

"I need to go," Taehyung said abruptly, standing up from his seat.

"Is everything okay?" Min Kyu asked, looking concerned.

Taehyung nodded, not trusting his voice to speak. He quickly walked out of the library, his mind filled with thoughts of Jungkook and Maria.
