Jungkook sat on the bench, lost in thought about Taehyung and his feelings for him. He didn't notice when Taehyung walked towards him until he heard his voice.

"Hey, what's up, kookie?" Taehyung asked, plopping down on the bench next to Jungkook.

Jungkook looked up and smiled weakly. "Nothing much, just chilling," he replied.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Chilling? In this weather?" he teased, nudging Jungkook playfully.

Jungkook chuckled. "Well, I guess I just needed some fresh air," he said.

Taehyung grinned. "So, did you find your girl in the library?" he asked, winking.

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "No, she was just a friend who needed help with her notes," he explained.

Taehyung nodded, but Jungkook noticed a flicker of something in his friend's eyes. Was it jealousy?

"What about you? How was your study session with Min Kyu?" Jungkook asked, trying to change the subject.

Taehyung shrugged. "It was fun," he said, but Jungkook could tell that something was off.

"Anyways I'm tired after so much study I need to sleep" Taehyung huffed dramatically and lied his head on Jungkook's lap

Jungkook couldn't help but blush at the way Taehyung lay his head on his lap. It was such a familiar and comfortable gesture. But he also noticed that Taehyung seemed a bit distant, and he couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with seeing him with Maria earlier.

I'm thinking nonsense

As Taehyung closed his eyes, Jungkook gently brushed his hair away from his forehead. "Tae, is everything okay?" he asked softly.

Taehyung didn't reply for a moment, and Jungkook was about to ask again when Taehyung spoke up. "Yeah, everything's fine," he said, playing with Jungkook's fingers but his voice was lacking the usual warmth and enthusiasm.

Jungkook could tell that Taehyung was lying, but he didn't want to push the issue. Instead, he decided to lighten the mood. "You're always tired," he teased, ruffling Taehyung's hair playfully. "You're like a cat. All you do is eat, sleep, and play."

Taehyung laughed, but it was forced. Jungkook couldn't shake the feeling that something was bothering him. He ran his fingers through Taehyung's hair, trying to soothe him without saying anything.

They sat like that for a while, the quiet only interrupted by the rustling of leaves in the wind. Jungkook felt Taehyung's breathing slow and deepen, and he knew that he had fallen asleep. He smiled down at his best friend, feeling grateful for moments like these where they could just be together, without any pretenses or expectations.

Unmyeong was walking by, when she noticed the sweet moment between Taehyung and Jungkook. She couldn't help but coo at them, causing Min Kyu who was passing by to notice her reaction.

He turned his head to look at Taehyung and Jungkook and was taken aback by how close they were. They were always together, but he had never really thought about their relationship before. He watched as Taehyung laid his head on Jungkook's lap and Jungkook's hand automatically went to rest on his friend's hair.

Unmyeong noticed Min Kyu staring and nudged him. "Aren't they cute?" she said with a grin.

Min Kyu's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he watched the two boys. He had always seen them act like this before. Sure, they were close, but he couldn't help but feel like there was something more there. He tried to shake the thought from his head, reminding himself that they were just best friends.

As Taehyung raised his head and sat up, he noticed Min Kyu standing there. "Oh, hey Min Kyu!" Taehyung greeted him with a smile.

"Hey, what's up, Taehyung?" Min Kyu said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Taehyung stood up and dusted himself off. "Just hanging out with Jungkook," he said, gesturing to the raven head who was still sitting on the bench.

Jungkook waved at Min Kyu with a smile, but his attention quickly went back to Taehyung. He couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness as he thought about how things had changed between them. It used to be just the two of them, but now Taehyung was spending more and more time with Min Kyu.

"So, what were you guys up to?" Min Kyu asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Nothing much," Taehyung replied, trying to sound casual.

Jungkook could tell that something was off. Taehyung was always enthusiastic about everything, but he seemed to be holding back. Jungkook wondered if it was because of him.

Unmyeong, sensing the tension, decided to step in. "Hey Taehyung, hope you still remember me...it's been long since we talked so I was thinking why don't we all hang out together sometime?" she suggested

Taehyung perked up at the idea, but Jungkook felt his heart sink. He couldn't bear the thought of Taehyung spending time with someone else, even if it was just a group hangout.

Min Kyu nodded in agreement. "That sounds like fun," he said.

Jungkook tried to hide his disappointment and put on a smile. "Yeah, that sounds great," he said, trying to play it cool.

Taehyung grinned at his friend. "Awesome! We'll have to plan something soon," he said.

As they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways, Jungkook couldn't help but feel like something had changed between him and Taehyung. He knew he couldn't stop his friend from making new friends, but he couldn't help feeling a little jealous and left out.
