Chapter 12: A Talk With Sirzechs

The Next Morning

Obe had stayed in bed to continue his recovery from his sudden outburst a few days ago. He was now out and getting some basic exercises in to stretch out his body. The group finds him in the weight room of the Academy. They see him lifting very heavy weights with ease. He turns to see them.

Obe: Hey guys. *turns around* What brings you here?

Luna: We came to see how you were recovering. *smiles* Looks like you've made a full recovery.

Obe: *puts weights down* Yeah, I feel much better now. *realizes* Oh yeah, what did I miss while I was out?

Rias: Issei, Koneko, and Saji went with the Church warriors to find Kiba without my knowledge. They did find two people, but they got away.

Obe: Who were they?

Kiba: They were Freed and Valper. *says with venom in his voice*

Obe: Kiba calm yourself. Who are Freed and Valper?

Kiba: Sorry... Freed is basically a bloodthirsty Exorcist and Valper... He's the one who made the Holy sword project.

Obe: *puts a hand on Kiba's shoulder* Kiba, *Kiba looks at him* I promise you they will not get away next time.

Kiba: *smiles at Obe* Thanks Obe, and don't worry, I know where to place my revenge.

Obe: Good. *turns to Rias* Did you have anything else to talk to me about Rias?

Rias: Yes. My brother wishes to see you.

Obe: *surprised* Really? I thought he would have other things to do.

Rias: *laughs a bit* He tries to make time for other things. There are four Devil Kings for a reason.

Obe: *laughs* I guess so. So when does he want to see me?

Rias: He waned to see you a few days ago, but I told him what happened. So he said he could wait till you recovered.

Obe: *gets cloak and helmet on* Lets get going then.

Rias: Very well, *opens a portal, turns to everyone* I'll be back soon.

Obe: *turns to Luna and gives her the sword* Here, take this, *she raises a brow to him* something tells me that you'll need it. *she nods at him*

Rias and Obe walk through the portal.

Obe: How long do you think this will take?

Rias: Depends on what he wants.

Obe: Can't argue with that.

They arrive in the Gremory Mansion. Obe has a quick glance around.

Obe: Impressive living space.

A door opens, Rias and Obe turn to see Sirzechs and Grayfia walking towards them.

Sirzechs: Ah my dear sister and Obelisk. You've finally arrived.

Rias: Brother. *she nods to him*

Obe: Good to see you again Sirzechs, you as well Grayfia.

Sirzechs nods at Obe while Grayfia bows.

Grayfia: Good to see you as well Lord Obelisk.

Sirzechs: You're probably wondering why you've been invited here. *Obe nods at him* Well to put it simply, there are some things I've been wanting to talk to you about, but we never had the time.

Obe: Well I'm here now.

Sirzechs: *looks at Rias* Rias, I'll be having a walk with Obelisk around the mansion to discuss some things.
