Chapter 16: Lost Time (Short)

Two Weeks After Kokabiel's War Attempt

Everyone had been trying to relax after the victory over Kokabiel. Obe and Luna however, were using this time to reconnect with Errith. Spending as much time together as possible. The three are seen walking down a street.

Errith: I will admit, this world has me befuddled.

Obe: You'll get used to it eventually mother.

Luna: Though it took us a bit to understand it.

The three then sit at a bench in a park. Errith lowers her head after Obe goes to get ice cream.

Errith: How bad was it?

Luna: How bad was what?

Errith: How bad was Obe's rage?

Luna: ...You mean after you were killed? *Errith nods* Obe didn't have much time to unleash it on anybody. Hades knocked him out, then he took me and my parents captive. *Errith looks at her* It took Obe... At least a day or two to find us. He said the only hint Hades gave him was "You'll come to end it where it all began". *Errith's eyes widen* Obe never told me what it meant.

Errith: I know what that meant. *Luna looks at Errith* Did Obe ever tell you that... That me and Dreix aren't his biological parents?

Luna: *surprised* N- no, Obe never told me that. You adopted him?

Errith: In a sense, yes. At the time, the Sith Empire was still ruthless and bloodthirsty. We were destroying a planet that was rebelling against us. We chose the long route, destroying as much as possible. When we thought it was good enough to start sending troops, me and Dreix went with them. As we were rounding up citizens that weren't fighting back, we heard a baby's cries. We searched for a while, then a trooper found him.

Luna: Obe? *Errith nods* Wow...

Errith: After the trooper found him, me and Dreix were sensing a strong connection to the force within him. We were discussing what to do when we heard the Captain trying to take Obe. The commotion woke him up and he started crying. Before me and Dreix could intervene, the Captain's neck suddenly got snapped. *Luna looks at Errith in realization* Yes, we saw it was Obe who did it. That's when we decided to take him in, not as an apprentice, *smiles* but as our child.

Luna: *smiling at Errith* You both made the right choice taking him in.

Errith: *looks at Luna, smiling* You think so?

Luna: I mean, if you never took him in, we wouldn't be sitting here, having a great time together.

Errith: Can't argue with that.

Obe comes with a few ice cream cones.

Obe: Have a nice chat?

Luna: Very nice.

Sauron is seen in the distance watching the three, smiling under his helmet.

Sauron: You truly are a better person Obelisk. I do wonder if you'll accept my teachings.

Time Skip Two Weeks

The group are in the ORC meeting room as Obe was meditating.

Rias: Any strays in the area lately?

Koneko: None, I guess word really got around how powerful we all are.

Xenovia: Thanks again for letting me in your Peerage lady Rias.

Rias: *giggles a bit* It's no problem, plus we can help you get even more powerful.

As the meeting finished, Sauron and Errith had entered the room.

Obe: Mother, Sauron, what brings you both here?

Sauron: I came to get your answer Obelisk.

Obe: Oh yes, about getting your teachings in the Force.

Sauron: Do you accept?
