It took about twenty minutes before the plane started to move, and it certainly was entertaining for Michelle to watch Ned's slightly terrified expression as they lined up to take off
she sat back and watched as the world outside the window became smaller and smaller on the plane window
After a while, the seatbelt sign went off and the plane began to level out
"We survived," she said, turning to look at Ned and Peter, who both laughed with relief
How were your ears, babe ?" Betty asked him as Ned just shrugged
"Bit painful but not to bad. Does this thing have movies?" Ned added as Betty nodded her head
Yeah they usually do. There are headphones in the pocket Betty said to Ned
They each reached down and pulled out their headphones, and within a few minutes, they were each peacefully watching their respective movies
Michelle looked to the left and wasn't surprised to see that they had both chosen a Star Wars movie
If my memory is correct, the one Peter is watching is A New Hope, the first one that was made, and the one Ned is watching is The Phantom Menace, the first one in chronological order MJ thought to herself
Michelle also had decided to watch the movie adaptation of 1984, which she had nearly jumped in excitement when she saw was included in the inflight entertainment
After nearly twenty minutes of watching, Michelle felt something warm tug at and encase her hand and then She looked down and saw that Peter had taken her hand in his, resting their hands on his lap
She also noticed that he had moved the armrest between them up at some point
The rest of the flight was spent with them each watching movies and with Michelle's hand in Peters
As she had predicted, the both of them got up twice to go to the bathroom, whereas she didn't get up at all
Before they knew it, the seatbelt sign came back on and the pilot announced to everyone onboard that they were starting their descent into Boston
Michelle looked out the window and felt a jump of excitement when all she could see below was white
She felt Peter lean into her to also look out and could guess that Ned was trying to look out as well
Michelle whispered endearingly to both of them, "Welcome to Boston, losers
Eventually, everyone was trying to stand in the aisle and grab their luggage, Ned one of them, although he and Betty are being squished behind
Michelle knew better than to try and stand right now, as everyone would be crowded in the aisle for about ten minutes before people would start to actually leave the plane
She watched curiously as Peter unbuckled his seat belt and stood up
To her surprise, he was able to stand up pretty much completely straight, and he wasn't bent over trying not to hit his head like most people were
Michelle couldn't help but let out a laugh in surprise
Peter heard her and looked down
"What? peter said confused with a smile
Nothing, it's just that your so short that you can stand without hitting your head " Michelle said with a smile
Peter scowled and a look of determination came over him
Are you calling me short? I'm not short. Look, I can be tall- Ow!" As he spoke he decided to stand on his tip-toes, and as a result, shot straight up into the roof of the cabin, hitting his head
Immediately Michelle burst into laughter
HAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!! That was funny and adorable at the same time I don't know what to do! Michelle scowled in her head
Peter sat back down in his seat, rubbing the top of his head a little
Michelle chuckled a little before leaning forward and placing a light kiss on his cheek
"You're quite adorable at times, Parker. You know that?MJ said to him
Michelle couldn't help but say it
He is adorable and should be told so. Also, it was totally worth saying it just to see how red his face is right now
He looked up at her and flashed a cute smile at her, his cheeks and nose tomato red
Michelle smiled back Then she watched as Peter leaned forward and one-upped her kiss on the cheek by actually kissing her
It was just a peck, but it was enough that some of his blush definitely transferred to her
He leaned back into his seat with a mischievous smirk
"Wipe that off, you still hit your head, loser MJ said defensively at him
He chuckled still
Finally, MJ said annoyed everybody had started to move
They did so swiftly as they could Peter and Michelle got up to grab their backpacks
When Michelle tried to shuffle out into the isle she nearly lost her balance as she had actually needed to bend over not to hit her head
but Peter caught her arm within a split second and steadied her
Thank the lord for his superhuman reflexes Haha literally! MJ thought to herself
She quickly thanked him as she finally stood in the aisle and grabbed her backpack
They slowly shuffled down the plane, having to stop a few times to let more people stand and get their things
Soon they made it down to the front of the plane and walked to the exit Immediately they were greeted by the brisk air in the tunnel
Today the day has now changed to June 9th, 2025
meaning that tomorrow is MJ's birthday when she'll be finally 18 an adult now
Hoo! That's a bit cold!" Ned said ahead of them
They walked up the tunnel and eventually made it to the end
The heating was on in the airport, so when they found the group standing by some empty seats, everyone enjoyed being warm and took the opportunity to put on some more jumpers or hoodies along the way
Michelle pulled the other strap on her backpack onto her shoulder and clipped the top so that it wouldn't fall off and so that it would be easier to carry
She walked down the bus, her hand still in Peters's, and when they were near the end of the bus
she moved to the right side of the bus and sat down, her at the window and Peter in the aisle
Ned sat down in the same row but on the other side with Betty
