I jump in the backseat of the car, Sofiia and Lando in the front

They aren't even dating and I feel like a third wheel, the look on their faces as they look at each makes me roll my eyes, almost, just almost, wishing for someone to be able to look at that like

Lando- "Okay so you guys know a lot of the people coming, don't worry, Carly won't be there" Why exactly does he know of my disliking towards her? Sofiia! You traitor

"Why not?" Yes, i'm happy the blonde wont be accompanying her boyfriend but still, i'd like to know why

Lando- "She's visiting her parents" aww what happened? Charles turn off the credit card so she has to try plan B? Whatever, not complaining!

Sofiia- "Lan, you still didn't tell us who will be there" NICKNAMES??? Damn no shot they aren't doing anything

Lando- "It's smaller than other times, just Carlos, Daniel, Max, Charles, Pierre, Kika, Isa, and us"

That's still ten people. Not very small if you ask me.

I still can't help but smile knowing Charles will be there without Carly, but it goes away when I snap out of it, reminding myself that she is in fact dating him and they'll probably be sitting on the phone tonight, telling one another how much they miss each other

We pull up to a marina, getting out of the car to find a yacht I recognize from one of Charles' posts, so this is his yacht

I get an uneasy feeling in my stomach, it could've been Pierre's boat and i'd still probably feel less out of place

Daniel- "Party girl!" He cheers as I walk up the stairs to the main level where everyone is sitting

"Aussie boy!" I drop down onto the couch beside him as he messes up my hair as a greeting, Carlos and Isa are across from us, Charles, Pierre, and Max are no where to be found

Kika- "What took you guys so long?"

"Not sure, you'd think an f1 driver would know how to hit the damn gas"

Lando- "I heard that!" he complains from the bar where he's talking with Sofiia

"Really? Wasn't sure if you were too distracted flirting with my best friend"

Sofiia- "Helena!"

"It's okay, you both desperately need someone" I send them a wink, a small smirk growing on Landon's face as he looks at my best friend, a small scold being sent his way from her
