43- Sidewalks and Rocks

I woke up to gentle kisses being placed all over my face, the feeling of one last one being placed on the top of my nose making my eyes flutter open to find his green ones

"You have no patience"

"I was bored with you asleep" he gives me an innocent smile that I roll my eyes at playfully

"What time is it?"

He rolls over to check the time before laying back facing me, "9:26"

"When did you wake up?"

"Like ten minutes ago"

I hum in response, laying down in his arms and closing my eyes once more

I feel his chest move as he lets out a quiet chuckle before wrapping his arms around me

I don't know what we are, or what he wants to be but right now it doesn't matter, just thinking about last night makes the edge of my lips curl up

seven months where kissing him was something I wasn't even allowed to think about and now, I can finally relax

I wonder whether he's aware what he does to me, how much he's helped me, does he know that he saved me or is he blissfully unaware, just as I am to whatever is going on in his head

After another few minutes I hear the door creak open, i'm physically to tired to try and move from beside him, all he does at the presence of someone else entering the door is pull me closer to him, pulling the blanket up so that you can't see me

Sofiia- "I know she's there, i'm not dumb" I smile against Charles chest hearing my best friends familiar voice

Letting go of him despite knowing I could stay there forever I sit up with a smile you couldn't force of my lips if you tried, "Good morning beautiful girl"

She laughs at my appearance from under the covers, "We're going out for breakfast then we're going to the beach, get ready" After telling us the plan she's about to leave the room

"Sof! Wait!"

The brunette turns around at my voice slightly confused before the look changes to a smirk, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone" after that she leaves, I let out a huff before relaxing back into Charles

"You were awfully quiet"

"What was I supposed to say? She was staring at me like threatening me"

"She physically is incapable of hurting anyone"

"How did she know that's what you were going to ask her before she left?"

"She read my mind"

"So not only are you in the Serbian mafia but you're a superhero?"

"Who's said I was using my ability for good?"

"My apologies, should've known you wouldn't"

"Hey!" I hit his chest playfully, a smile mirrored on both of our expressions

"Come on super villain, we should get dressed"
