Hamuko and Rio walked into the spacious gymnasium, with the smell of sweat and hardwood floors lingering in the air. The sound of bouncing basketballs echoed across the room as they made their way to the stands. From the top, they had a clear view of the court, where the home team, Yasoinaba, was practicing their shots. The players moved with speed and agility, their sneakers squeaking on the polished floor as they passed the ball to each other with ease.

Despite the home team's impressive display, Gekkoukan's players were nowhere to be found on the court. Perhaps they were still in the locker room, strategizing and psyching themselves up for the upcoming game. Hamuko and Rio scanned the stands for an empty seat, looking for a good vantage point to cheer for their school. Finally, Rio spotted an unoccupied spot and pointed to it, "Hamuko-chan, right here! I found us a spot." They hurried over to claim their seats and settled in, ready to cheer on their team.

As they sat down, Hamuko couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness in her stomach. This is the first time she was going to watch (Name) play.

As they watched the practice, Rio couldn't help but notice that Hamuko seemed a bit distracted. She kept glancing at her phone and smiling to herself. Rio couldn't resist teasing her friend, "Hey, Hamuko-chan, who are you texting there? Is it your new crush?"

Hamuko blushed and quickly put her phone away, "N-no, it's nothing like that. Just a friend."

But Rio wasn't convinced. She had noticed that Hamuko had been getting closer to (Name) recently, and she had a feeling that something was going on between them. She decided to poke a little more, "Come on, Hamuko-chan, you can tell me. You know I won't judge you."

Hamuko hesitated for a moment before finally giving in, "Okay, fine. It's (Name). We've been talking a lot lately and I don't know, it just feels like there might be something there."

Rio grinned, "I knew it! You two would make such a cute couple. You should ask them out."

Hamuko shook her head, "I don't know if I'm ready for that yet. I don't want to ruin our friendship."

Rio nodded in understanding, "I get it. Just remember, sometimes taking a chance can lead to something amazing. But whatever you decide, I'll be here to support you."

"Am I really taking this from someone who likes Kenji..?" Hamuko mutters underneath her breath.

Suddenly, the door to the locker room burst open, and the Gekkoukan players spilled out onto the court. They were wearing their signature red and black jerseys, with their team name emblazoned across their chests, among them is (Name). Hamuko couldn't help but feel a swell of pride in her chest as she watched them take their positions on the court.

Hamuko swapped her flip phone to the camera function. She was ready to record the game for (Name), who had asked her to capture the highlights for some reason. As she adjusted her phone's settings, Rio looked over her shoulder, "Why are you recording the game?"

Hamuko glanced at Rio before replying, "Oh, (Name)-kun asked me to record it for him."

Rio furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "Why does he need it?"

Hamuko hesitated for a moment, knowing that it was probably for (Name)'s social links, but Rio had no idea what that meant. "Uh, I think it's for some project or something," she said, trying to be vague.

Rio shrugged, accepting Hamuko's answer. "Well, let's hope our team crushes them today," she said with a grin, turning her attention back to the court. Hamuko nodded in agreement and pressed record on her phone, hoping to capture every exciting moment of the game.
