I swear: the sea calls to me.
I hear its melodies in my sleep;
Its alluring plea.

It tears at my heart and forces my feet to move.
I swear I don't want to leave you.
It takes over my heart and mind;
It makes me forget about you for a while.

Someday, you might wake up in an empty bed;
find me gone, without a trace.
Will you blame me? I was only a broken sailor.
