The T.v got switched off and the remote was placed on the wooden coffee table. Matthew grasped his mug tighter as he wriggled his toes on the soft floor rug.

His head fell back as he smiled genuinely. Not being able to contain his joy. He leaned back, looking forward as he sipped the hot chocolate from his mug

"Ugh Matthew, Don't tell me you just watched another episode of it" Laura his sister groaned as she sat on the couch beside Matthew. She had picked the remote, turned the tv on, only to see the end credit of the survival show Matthew participated in

"What? I'm just elated. Can't believe I made it" Matthew said grinning. Laura smiled as she playfully rolled her eyes. She started surfing through the channels, looking for something good to watch

"You do know, it's a week left before you move into your company... like you only have a week of freedom" She said, her eyes not leaving the tv screen

Matthew clicked his tongue and looked at her.

"Oh come on, when you put it like that, you make me almost want to regret having to debut" Matthew whined but his sister just shrugged.

He stood up, dropping the pillow that was on his lap back on the couch. He walked to the kitchen and placed the mug on the counter. He was about to wash it but his phone went off

"Hyung!" He greeted cheerfully after hearing the voice of the other person.

"Yah Matthew, why haven't you been answering my calls?" Hanbin said. Matthew smiled hearing the playful tone of his voice. He turned and sat on the counter

"Hyung you never call me and that's because we text 24/7. You know you can't do without me" Matthew said and grinned wider when he heard Hanbin chuckle.

"So how are you doing? I've missed you a lot" Hanbin said and Matthew looked down smiling.

"Again, we text 24/7" Matthew reminded Hanbin.
"That doesn't mean anything. I need to see you to be assured" Hanbin said and Matthew heard a rustle.

"It's just a week remaining hyung. I'm sure you can survive without your best friend just for a few days" Matthew said swaying his legs.

Their company, WakeOne entertainment, gave the nine of them, a month off. To interact with their family, friends.

Matthew's mom walked into the kitchen and saw Matthew on the phone. She mouthed
"No phones in the kitchen"

Matthew's eyes widened as he muttered 'oh'. He got down from the counter muttering a little sorry to his mom before walking up to his room

Matthew and Hanbin talked for long before Hanbin had to go. Matthew immediately went to their group chat to see what had happened when he wasn't online
