Meeting The Family (Jacky Vincent)

Chey's POV

"Hey babe, I was wondering when I could meet your parents? I mean we are living together and we've been together for a long time." Jacky said. I sighed. I haven't really been avoiding having him meet my family but I kind of have. "We can go today. It will be a long plane ride but we could go." I said. "That sounds nice." He said hugging me. I smiled and went to call my mom. "Hey sweetie." She said answering the phone. "Hey mom, I was wondering if I could come fly out today so you could meet my boyfriend and spend some time with the family." I said. "That sounds great. Your little brothers miss you." She said. "I miss them too." I said. I haven't seen them in ages since I moved to the states. "I'm going to order my plane tickets now and we should see you tomorrow most likely." I said. "Okay, see you then sweetheart. Love you." She said. "I love you too mom." I said hanging up. I ordered our plane tickets and asked Ronnie if he could drop us off at the airport. I headed up to our room and found Jacky almost done packing for us. "I am so excited to meet your family. Do you think they will like me?" he asked. "Of course they will. They will love you because I do." I said kissing him. He finished packing as Ronnie showed up. We all climbed into the car and headed to the airport. "Thank you Ronnie." I said hugging him. "No problem. Have fun you two." He said. We smiled and headed to our gate. It was long flight but we finally landed. We walked through the airport and my little brothers saw us. They ran over and hugged me tightly. "Hey guys, I've missed you." I said. "We missed you so much." Thomas said. We walked over to my mom and she engulfed me in a hug. "I missed you sweetie." She said. "I've missed you too mom." I said. We climbed into her car and headed to my house. We took our things up to my old room and I heard Jacky snicker. "Shush, be happy it is you on the wall." I said. He smiled and kissed me. We headed downstairs and I introduced Jacky to Thomas and Liam. The boys were instantly in love with Jacky when he started taking about Final Fantasy. I walked into the kitchen and helped my mom with dinner. We called the boys in for dinner and we all sat down. "Mom, This is Jackson Vincent. He is my boyfriend. Me and our friends call him Jacky." I said. "It is nice to meet you Jacky." My mom said. "It is nice to meet you too. I see where Chey gets her good looks." He said. I blushed. Jacky spent the rest of the night charming my mom. It made me happy that my mom likes him. We helped clean up the dishes then headed up to my room. "So when will I meet your dad?" he asked. I felt tears in my eyes but held them back. "I will take you to meet him tomorrow." I said. He smiled and kissed me. We changed into our PJs and then went to sleep. We woke up the next morning and got ready. I pulled on a jacket and we got breakfast at Starbucks. I drove towards the cemetery. I parked the car and we climbed out. I took Jacky's hand and led him to my father's grave. I could see that he knew I felt a little uneasy. I really hope this doesn't freak him out. We reach my father's grave and tears form in my eyes. "It is finally nice to meet you sir. You have an amazing daughter. I love her so much. I am so lucky to have met her. I want you to know that I promise to protect her forever." He said. I started crying happy tears. He looked up and wiped away my tears. He then kissed me. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked. "I just don't like talking about it. I miss him so much." I said. "I understand. I'm glad you took me to meet him." He said. "I love you." I said kissing him. "I love you too. Thank you for taking me to meet your family." He said. "Well you are a part of it." I said smiling. "I'm happy that you think that so why don't we make it official. Marry me?" he asked getting down on one knee holding out a ring. "Yes." I said. He slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me.
