A: because the nurse trusted Sam more than they trusted Colby. Plus, I don't really know how they do this hospital stuff so correct me if I'm wrong.
Q: Why didn't Colby use his phone to call the police in the first place?
A: For starters, I made his character have slower thinking skills at the start. He was also very scared about getting shot in the head if he'd pick up his phone.
