Neoma

When I had woken up, I was still in the torn up dress and laying in the tower bedroom, chained like an animal to the wall once more. The room was dark with only little light from the moon hitting the floors. In the corner, I could see someone sitting in the chair. A shadowed figure was reading a book- that much I knew. They must have realised I was awake and looking at them because the book slammed shut and like magic, each candle on the chandelier above my bed lit. Poseidon sat in the chair barefoot and in light denim pants with a tight white t-shirt that showed every bit of muscle. There was something next to his feet that looked like a backpack- like my old one from high school.

    "How long have I-"

"Two days. Having sex with a god will do that to you. Don't worry, you'll build a tolerance to it. Think of it like a melatonin or heroin. Whichever you prefer." Poseidon answered with a grin, flashing unusually white teeth. I was reminded all over of having sex with Zeus. I had figured that I would put him to sleep and get the chance to run but he was better than I expected. Even thinking about it made me wet and want more. Dylan had never fucked me like that and definitely never made me orgasm.

"Is it going to be like that with all of you?" I found myself asking. Poseidon laughed hard for a moment while making his way over to the end of the bed. He set his book down behind him and I was able to see he was reading a book about aquatic life. Fitting for him to pick up something like that.

"Well you'll most likely only have Zeus and I in that manner. Hades doesn't like to participate and Hestia is too busy fucking Demeter. But I can argue that with me, when it happens, it will be better. How does that sound love?" Poseidon whispered the last sentence directly into my ear while running his hand slowly up my leg. He glanced down at my breasts fully out thanks to Zeus and stuck two of his fingers in me with a smirk. "You're already wet? And here Zeus said you were a good girl."

As if bored that he couldn't tease me more, Poseidon immediately took his fingers out and stood up to unlock the shackles. Walking over back to the chair, he threw my backpack at me but it was heavy. I glanced in it and each piece of clothing I owned was inside ranging from bras to jeans. Even my beat up Converse I've had since I was fifteen were thrown at me. They really went back to Arizona and grabbed all of my stuff. Thoughts resided in me once more about my father. What would happen to all the pictures of my family in the house? What about all of my mom's stuff in the attic?

"Hestia and Demeter said they're going to change the room for you tomorrow. For now- change your clothes. I'll step out and be waiting for you downstairs." Poseidon informed before walking down the steps and closing the door behind him. I quickly threw off the torn up dress and on my Converse, one of my old torn up denim shorts, and a plain white t-shirt to complete the look.    I couldn't help but look at my birthmark above my knee once more- the mark that apparently cursed me to this life all because of two ancestors pissing off the gods.

A mark that suddenly made more sense why I was always left out when I was younger. Dylan's father, the local church priest, said this made me marked for the devil. If it does, then perhaps the Greeks worshipped the wrong men. Even my mother, before she died, used to tell me that this mark was important to our family history. She used to tell me stories that her grandmother told her about Greece but I thought she had just come here for a vacation or something.

I opened the door and began the walk down the wooden spiral stairs in the tight hall. I had to place my hand on the bricked wall and take each step one by one so I wouldn't go tumbling down the steps. The archway gave the bottom five steps light from the windows in the hall but no Poseidon in sight. No one was there. This was my chance. As quickly as I could, I began running down the marble steps that would lead to the main hall before finding two giant glass doors that lead to the garden.
