Damian's Question

Kiera sat at her desk in her pack house, her mind still racing from the debate in her college lecture earlier that day. She couldn't help but wonder what had driven Damian to ask such pointed questions, particularly about the treatment of omega werewolves.

As an alpha, Kiera had always believed in treating all members of her pack equally, regardless of their rank. She had always been a fierce defender of the rights of her pack members, particularly those who were considered lower in rank. She had even pushed for more rights for omega werewolves in the past, but had met with resistance from other packs.

Kiera couldn't shake the feeling that Damian's questions were not just curiosity, but something more. She wondered if perhaps he was trying to provoke her, to see how she would react. She couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, knowing that she was sitting in the same room as a vampire, a traditional enemy of her kind.

But Kiera was determined not to let her guard down. She knew that her duty as an alpha was to protect her pack, no matter what the circumstances. She would not allow herself to be swayed by emotions or prejudices. She had to remain level-headed.

As she waited for Delta Liam to arrive, Kiera thought about all the possible answers to Damian's questions.

Flashback to college lecture

After losing his mate in the sea of students previously, Kiera still till this moment felt dejected but also a looming sense of happiness washed over her knowing that at least she knows her mate is here somewhere in this college.

While she steeled herself and making a mental note for finding his mate.
She stepped forward for her second lecture

Kiera entered the lecture hall and scanned the room. She saw the usual mix of supernatural beings, but her attention was drawn to the lone figure at the back of the room. It was Damian, the vampire she had met at the orientation ceremony. She tried to avoid looking at him, but she could feel his eyes on her. The tension was palpable, and Kiera could feel the uneasy atmosphere in the room. She knew that a werewolf and a vampire in the same room was always a recipe for disaster.

As everyone took their seats, the teacher entered the room. He was a level-headed and cool person who made learning fun. He started teaching about the various supernatural societal structures, explaining the different ranks and categories. The students listened attentively, taking notes and asking questions when necessary.

When the topic of werewolf pack hierarchy was being discussed, Damian sat upright in his seat, his eyes flickering with intensity as he leaned forward to address the teacher. raising his hand in midair.

"Excuse me, sir," he said, "but I have a few questions." Everyone turned to look at him, curious about what he was going to ask.

The teacher nodded, inviting Damian to ask his questions. He began, "I was just wondering, what is the ranking of omega werewolves? And why are some packs treating them as lowly beings or even slaves?.

In this modern era, why are there still no rules against it?"

The teacher opened his mouth to answer, but Damian was not done. "And what about humans? Are they really safe? Supernaturals can fight or run, but humans are easily prone to getting hurt.
Also adding to that...
Why some werewolves live so far away from cities? And why are there more aggression cases from werewolves? Why should we not have a rule for their anger management? There have been more cases of them easily losing composure and prone to violence."

Damian paused before adding with a touch of humor in his voice, "And also, I heard about the latest news that some werewolf got in a fight on the first day of college. Is that true?"

As Damian finished asking his series of questions, the room fell silent. The students in the lecture hall shifted uncomfortably in their seats, unsure of how to respond. It was clear that Damian's questions had touched upon sensitive topics that many were hesitant to discuss.

Damian continued to ask thought-provoking questions, prompting discussions among the students. Even though his questions were sometimes controversial, he approached the topics with a sense of curiosity and a desire to learn.

The teacher chimed in happily about how Kiera was a pack leader herself and could give more specific information about the topic. Damian looked pleased that he had caught the attention of the alpha, and the rest of the students leaned in, eager to hear what she had to say.

The atmosphere in the room was charged with a mix of tension and excitement. Damian's boldness had stirred up the class, and Kiera's response had only added to the drama. The students readied themselves intently as she's gonna begun to answer his questions, providing insight and knowledge that they had never heard before.

Kiera's Answers :-

Kiera stepped forward. She began to speak, her voice steady and confident.

"Omega werewolves hold a special place in our society," Kiera explained. "They are the caretakers of our young, the healers of our wounded, and the guardians of our elders. They are essential to the survival of our pack, and as such, they are to be respected and honored."

She paused for a moment before continuing. "However, there are still some packs that treat omegas poorly. This is not acceptable, and it goes against everything that our society stands for. We do not tolerate any form of mistreatment or discrimination."

Kiera's words seemed to resonate with the students, and many nodded in agreement. Damian looked impressed, and his gaze lingered on Kiera for a moment.

As the lecture continued, the teacher addressed the other questions that Damian had asked, providing detailed explanations about the werewolf pack hierarchy, the safety of humans, and the reasons why werewolves lived in remote areas away from cities. The teacher also explained that werewolves were prone to aggression due to their animal instincts, but that they had their own methods of anger management.

Throughout the lecture, .

As the lecture came to a close, the students filed out of the room, deep in conversation about the topics that had been discussed. Damian lingered behind, deep in thought.

Kiera approached him, and they exchanged a brief nod of acknowledgement. Damian's expression was contemplative, and Kiera could tell that he was still processing everything he had learned.

"Impressive questions," Kiera said, breaking the silence.

"Thanks," Damian replied. "I just want to understand more about this world."

Kiera smiled, recognizing the same thirst for knowledge that had driven her own curiosity. "You will," she said. "You're just getting started."
