"Here she comes walking down the street~" You sang as you and Chifuyu walked home. "I've never heard that song before. Who's it from?" He asked.

"TV Girl! I translated the lyrics just for you! Im so amazing right?" You bragged. "Yeah, so amazing." He said in a monotone voice.

"So ungrateful!" You whined as you two finally made it to your apartments. You waved goodbye to each other. You guys were gonna go to middle school soon...

'I just wanna meet Baji and Ryusei!' You thought happily. "I'm home!" You yelled even though you knew your mom was still at work. You decided to buy some manga with the allowance you've saved up. You changed into something cute and left a note on the fridge.

You left and stopped at a convenience store. You saw they had only one taiyaki left. You've always wanted to try one! You got it and looked around the store for more snacks. You had around 100 dollars or so! Two guys walk in and you hear a familiar voice.

"Ken-chin! There's no more taiyaki left!"

'No way...is that Mikey?!' You thought as you turned the corner. There he was, in all his glory. Draken was there too.

'Oh, my god. I can rizz him up!' You stupidly thought. You hesitantly walked towards them. "I took the last one but I don't mind giving it to you!" You exclaimed and Mikey stared at you.

"Are you an angel?" He asked as he happily accepted the taiyaki. "I'm far too dirty-minded to be an angel..." You mumbled. You waved goodbye and bought some snacks.

'What an anticlimactic conversation!' You thought. You bought some mangas that seemed interesting and left shortly after.

"I'm taking a chance 'cause I like you a lot, so I'll give it a shot give it all that I've got!" You sang as you walked. You were just exploring your surroundings but you never expected to find some random beat-up guy.

He looked your age but you feel like you've seen him somewhere. A classmate possibly? He had black hair, styled in a messy wolf cut and he was wearing a uniform.

'Yup, that's my school's uniform.' You thought as you started to see if he was alive. He groaned and you crouched to his level.

"Are you okay? Oh, obviously not..." You mumbled and he sat up against the wall. "Go away. They'll think you're someone close to me..." He uttered as he wiped the blood from his nose.

"Who? Actually, I don't care, I'm gonna get a first aid kit. You stay here!" You ordered as you went to a store. You bought the kit and went back to him. He was still there. He reluctantly let you help him up.

"Okay let's go to my house! I think my mommy isn't home yet." You said. "Your home? No way, what if they're watching?" He said fearfully.

You dragged him along since he didn't have much energy anyway. "You still haven't told me who 'they' are." You grumbled. "A gang, they beat me up." He took a deep breath. "They had some white uniforms...They're older than me by a lot." He explained.

White uniform...You can't remember shit! You two made it to your apartment and you sat him down on your couch. You tried your best to treat his wounds.

"What's your name?" You asked breaking the silence. "Soma Mashiro." He replied. "You?"

"L/N Y/N. We go to the same school." You said as you finished patching him. "We do?" He blurted and you got some leftovers from your fridge, warmed it up, and went back to him. "Eat up!" You said as you handed him the food.

"Why are you helping me?" He asked as he slowly ate the food. "Dunno. Just felt like it!" You replied as you sat down. He hummed and ate the food. Once he finished he stood up.

"Thank you for your hospitality, L/N." He thanked you with a bow. "Just call me Y/N and drop the honorifics!" You said and he smiled.

"Well, thank you Y/N." He said as he left. Hopefully, you two could be friends! You started cleaning your house since your mommy wasn't back yet.

You decided to go annoy Chifuyu! Cause you're such an amazing friend!

"Hey! I just made my bed!" He exclaimed as you jumped on his bed. "Too bad!" You said as you sat up.

"Where's my baby Excalibur?" You asked as you looked out the window. "He should be coming soon," Chifuyu said. Then your adorable son finally was at the window.

"My son! I've missed you so much!" You exclaimed as you lay on the floor letting him lick you and rub against you.

"Sometimes I think you only come over for Excalibur..." Chifuyu sighed as he pet him. "Obviously! I MEAN! My son is just a bonus! You're my number one!" You exclaimed.

"You shouldn't say things like that..." He mumbled with a faint blush. You hardly noticed since you were giving affection to Excalibur.

After a while, you went back home and your mom was finally home! You greeted her and she had brought dinner! Such a lovely day, what could go wrong tomorrow at school?

"Y/N! Is there anything you need?" Soma repeatedly asked. Chifuyu gave you a look. "Uh no. Not really! Shouldn't you go to class?" You asked him. Soma was a year younger than you.

"Ah, you're right! Can we eat lunch together?" He asked slightly blushing. "Oh, sure! Is that okay with you Fuyu?" You asked and he gave you a thumbs up. Soma left your classroom and went to his.

"What was that about?" He asked. "Yesterday, I treated him 'cause he got jumped by some gang." You explained and then class finally started.

"Do you want anything from the vending machine, Y/N?" Soma asked as you three walked up the stairs to the rooftop. "Hm...no, I'm good!" You replied with a smile that made him blush.

You three all ate your lunch together with Soma even offering to feed you. "Hey! Back off!" Chifuyu exclaimed. "What do mean back off? I'm simply showing my gratefulness to Y/N!" Soma retorted.

"You're trying to steal Y/N from me! I'm not dumb!" Chifuyu exclaimed and you sighed. "You guys are delusional. Can we eat in peace?" You yelled annoyed.

"Sorry, Y/N!" He apologized and ate his food quietly. Chifuyu glared at him.

"Y/N! I'll walk you home!" Soma exclaimed as you changed your shoes. "I already walk her home! She doesn't need anyone else." Chifuyu retorted.

"Wouldn't it be better with another person? What if something happens?" Soma remarked. "You suck at fighting anyway!" Chifuyu retorted.

"Hey! They caught me off guard! It was a 5v1 too!" Soma countered. "Okay shut up! Let's all walk together." You demanded.

The three of you walked together with Soma and Chifuyu slightly bickering. When you and Chifuyu arrived, Soma waved goodbye to you and left.

"I don't like him," Chifuyu said. "Good thing we're leaving that school then huh?" You said as you walked up the stairs.

"He's not so bad though..." You said and Chifuyu pouted. "He's like some lost puppy!" He whined.

"Hm? You're acting like a puppy right now!" You retorted, poking his cheek. "No, I'm not!"

You laughed and said goodbye to him as you went to your apartment. Soma wasn't so bad! He's better at fighting than you that's for sure though! Maybe you should take self-defense lessons...

"Oh, you're home early?" You asked as you took off your shoes. "Yeah! Work ended early today, some family issue came up with the boss." Your mom explained. She was washing the dishes.

You put your school bag on the floor and helped your mom clean. Even if she wasn't your mom you still loved her. You wouldn't trade your new life for anything.
