In the dimly lit room, tendrils of smoke curled and twisted, mirroring the intricate dance of emotions within me. Moon, the enigmatic man who had graced my presence for a single night, had unknowingly captivated my thoughts. My mind, so accustomed to control and power, now found itself entangled in the web of obsession.

It was not that I had fallen for him, per se. No, it was a matter of the novelty he brought to my world. His presence, different from the rest, intrigued me. There was an equality between us, a connection I had not experienced in years. His fearlessness, his refusal to bend to my will—it was a breath of fresh air amidst a sea of sycophants.

Yet, despite my outward pride, a nagging voice within me challenged the notion of equality. "You wouldn't be equals then, would you?" it whispered, taunting and persistent. Annoying as it was, it held a grain of truth. Desire had always been a fickle companion, elusive and treacherous.

"Sir," came the voice of Simon, interrupting my musings as a knock echoed on the hotel room door. "The car is ready. The meeting with Sky has been delayed for an hour."

I rose from my resting place, the pull of responsibility tugging at me. "I shall be down in thirty minutes," I replied, my voice tinged with an air of authority.

"Yes, sir!" Simon acknowledged, his tone laced with deference.

Thirty minutes later, clad in a perfectly tailored black suit, I found myself seated in the car, its engine purring with anticipation. It whisked me away, propelling me toward the heart of the infamous Sky mafia. The world I entered was a blend of opulence and hidden intentions, the perfect disguise for their illicit dealings.

"We have arrived, sir," the driver announced, his voice betraying a hint of trepidation.

This was the domain of Sun, the enigmatic figure at the helm of the Sky mafia. Though our interactions had been few, I sensed an undercurrent of something more. A smile played upon my lips as I acknowledged Sun with a nod, masking the depths of my thoughts.

"Come, come!" Sun's voice resonated with feigned warmth as he draped his arm over my shoulder. I reciprocated with a calculated smile, playing the role of the amiable ally. But behind his back, I discreetly signaled for Simon and Drake to remain vigilant, to protect what was mine.

Sun prattled on, leading me towards the waiting elevator, his words veiled with hidden intentions. A request hung in the air, tantalizing and ambiguous. "Oh, Dusk," he began, his tone laced with intrigue. "Before we proceed to the meeting room, there is something I must ask of you."

Ah, the moment of truth had arrived. My pride swelled within me as I nodded, feigning curiosity while silently relishing the opportunity to display my power and influence. "Speak," I responded, my voice brimming with confidence. "What is it that you require of me?"

A mischievous smile graced Sun's lips, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. "Should you come across anything regarding my right-hand man during the meeting, I implore you to keep it a secret," he revealed, his words dripping with intrigue.

My pride swelled further, for the request spoke volumes about the significance of his trusted subordinate. "Rest assured," I assured him, my tone dripping with confidence. "Your secrets are safe with me."

As the elevator doors opened, revealing a lavishly adorned room that spoke of wealth and power, my eyes sought out the figure seated at Sun's side. Moon, his weary expression and bloodshot eyes betraying the remnants of a sleepless night. In that instant, recognition surged through me, overshadowing any semblance of pride or power. Moon, the one who had ignited this madness within me, the one who held the key to unlock the depths of my soul.
