A/N:  I'm considering, as an apology for the long wait, sharing the Idols that inspired each Alluvion member for this story next chapter.  If this is something you would like to see, or if you would like to try to guess please feel free to respond to that on this paragraph here.  Or I could offer additional hints next chapter for everyone to make a final guess before the reveal in Chapter 27.  (Sorry if this doesn't make too much sense I woke up late this morning and this is all written kind of spur of the moment.

Side characters that appear for the first time/mentioned for the first time in this chapter plus their pronunciations.

I find myself nervously stroking my index finger back and forth against the texture of one of the knitted lines on the ivory sweater dress I am wearing. My feet also seem to have a mind of their own, shimmying back and forth in a nonsensical pattern on the mat beneath them. I've been averting my eyes away from the windshield in front of me to view the world outside through the passenger side window instead. Of course, all I can see is the traffic surrounding us and the tall buildings passing us by, but it's a lot better than staring past the virtual stranger in the driver seat. He introduced himself when he picked me up, but between his mangled English and my nerves I have already forgotten his name.

I wish I was in the same vehicle as my soulmates. I thought to myself for about the millionth time since I learned that we would be traveling separately today. Had I known about that detail before this morning I would have been able to deal with this nearly suffocating uneasiness beforehand. It sucks because aside from the hangover this morning was pretty amazing.

As I'm slowly regaining consciousness and starting to regain awareness, I realize that there is a god awful taste coating my tongue, tainting my taste buds. I roll my tongue around inside my mouth trying to not only dislodge the flavor, but also pinpoint what might have ended up leaving the putrid taste in my mouth in the first place. Of course that just leaves me cringing even more at the cloying yuckiness instead.

I groan as the sun comes out from behind a cloud and tries to blind me. I tug at the blanket over me and try to pull it up over my head to delay greeting the new day, but I barely manage to move it past my mouth. Instead, somehow I just end up taking up the human side in a pseudo game of tug and war against the fabric. It's a few moments later after continuing my struggles that I become aware, and surprised to realize, that the reason I can't move the blanket is because I am pinned between two warm bodies who have taken large portions of the blanket for themselves. My cheeks grow heated, and I wouldn't be surprised if my face was now as red as a tomato. I don't remember falling asleep cuddled up between two of my soulmates, but judging by the sculpted muscles and morning erections pressing against either side of me, which I am grappling to do my best to ignore, that's exactly where I am now.
