The whole conversation with her parents, she realized one thing. She will never be able to forgive herself if her parents are not able to watch her getting married. She can't let their pain go on in vein.

Both the families didn't want any kind of official meeting, so they mutually decided to send both of them for dinner.
They wanted to create an atmosphere where they both felt comfortable talking.

Sid was working on his laptop when his mom came. He smiled at her and so did she.
She sat in front of him on the bed. "Busy??" Asked vibha. "No Mom, what's the matter??" Sid asked keeping his laptop aside.
"You will be free tomorrow night??" Asked vibha. "Yeah...no actually I had a meeting the next day" said Sid.
"At night??" Vibha frowned. "Yeah Mom, actually the client is one of my old classmates so we thought of having a dinner tomorrow along with the meeting" Sid explained.
Vibha hummed in response deeply thinking about how she was going to take him for a dinner next day. "But why did you ask??" Sid asked breaking Vibha's chain of thoughts.
"I...I just wanted to have dinner with you tomorrow but....." "I am so sorry Mom, it's a very big deal and I can't risk losing it" Sid explained his helplessness.
Vibha patted his shoulder. "It's ok, that's not something new to me both my sons are always busy making money, they don't even have time to spend with me.....I understand" Vibha tried out emotional blackmail.
"Mom" Sid whined l. "It's not like and you know that right, then why??" Sid shared his thoughts.
"Nothing, everything as you wish" said Vibha getting up from bed. She turned to move out. "Which restaurant should I book??" Asked Sid making Vibha smile.
Finally! Her plan worked out. She turned back. "I have already booked," she said with a smile. "But I didn't even agree" sid questioned.
"I know you better than you do," she said and went out.
Sid focused back on his laptop. Vibha stopped and looked back. "Don't overwork yourself" sid looked at her and nodded with a smile.
