The next day I woke up with midnight right in my face we were nose to nose I groaned and sat up making midnight fall off the bed I started laughing and apologized to midnight who only waged his tail and barked after she barked I heard a grunt and looked over to see Daryl coming out of the bathroom he looked at midnight angrily and said "shut up dog I have a hangover" I only laughed harder Daryl looked at me and said "you think this is funny" I only nodded i couldn't find my voice from laughing to hard he walked over to me slowly I squealed and ran out the door and to the elevator where midnight was waiting for me "geez some doc you are leaving me alone out there" I said with a smile on my face he only barked I laughed got in the elevator and pressed up to the cafeteria when the doors open midnight ran out to search for some food when Carl was by him giving him some eggs when no one was looking I laughed at his sneakiness and got me a plate full of eggs I say by Glenn who only groaned from his hangover "never ever let me drink again" he grunted I laughed and patted his back T-Dog was setting a plate by him and said "protein helps the hangover" he only groaned in response I smiled at him and looked over at the elevator to see Shane with scratches on his neck "what happened to your neck" I asked "must of done it in my sleep" he said he looked towards Lori midnight growled at him meaning he was lying I ate my eggs and then DR. Jenner walked in and told us to follow him we all followed and saw we were at his lab and told us what are the walkers doing and what was going on in the brain before the people died I looked to my left and saw a clock counting down "hey doc why is the clock counting down to" I asked I was cautious of what he would say he told us calmly "when that clock strikes to zero this building would self destruct" my eyes were so wide I thought they were about to pop out "everybody grab your stuff and get out of here" Rick yelled before we got close to the door he locked us in
After many yelling and threats he owned the door and we grabbed our stuff and moved in to the front door "Rick I might have something that would work" Carol said she pulled out a grenade and Rick unhooked it and we ran to some cover I covered daddy and midnight because I don't want them to get hurt I was almost out the window when I didn't see dad out there I looked behind me and there he was not moving in inch I ran to him and said "daddy why aren't you moving we have to go" I tried moving him but it wouldn't work he was like a brick wall when the clock reached 10:00 I screamed "daddy I can't lose you to please daddy I need you your all I have left" after I said that I was picked up by Shane and got thrown over his shoulder I screamed and kicked to let me go "DADDY DADDY PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME DONT GO DADDY" I screamed we got into Shane's jeep and he covered me from the explosion after he uncovered me I saw the building on fire and daddy covering Andrea from the explosion I got out from the jeep and ran towards my dad as fast as I could and almost tackled him to the ground we were both crying our eyes out "I'm here sweetie I'm here I'm not going anywhere" he told me in a whisper we got into the RV and went to Fort Benning 'were safe for now' I thought and then I looked at my dad and smiled and we began our journey again.
