HAZEL GREY
He fired the bullet but the gun was no longer pointed at my head. I tried to see in the direction of the bullet fired while his gaze was still on me, I saw the man he was once beating dead on the floor with dead eyes staring at me. I met his gaze and asked without paying attention to what he did right now, "Why didn't you kill me? "Because I can't Hazel", he said as if he did not kill anyone right now "How do you know my name?" "I just got some of your stuff on the bridge," he answered. To suppress all the fear I shouted "Why can't you kill me, I have seen you murdering two men, I can go to the police and report you!" "You can't go because you are coming with me angel" he injected something into my arm as he finish his words. I tried to fight but my vision started becoming blurred 'You'll regret it", were the last words I heard myself saying.
Aiden Williamson
"The most difficult thing in life is to live,
Because most people just exist. I used to
Take this quote very..."
"What the hell are you doing Aiden?" Terry asked loudly while entering my office without even bothering to knock. "Just reading a diary of the young girl," I said. "Am I supposed to laugh?" Terry asked in his so-called sarcastic way. "I am asking, what are you doing with her?" then he asked the most difficult question to answer. I just brought her here, "I think she is perfect for us," I said while closing the diary. "I think is the key of the lock we've been looking for our entire life," I told him meeting his gaze. "Do you think she is going to do that for us?" He asked, "I don't know but we'll figure that out. Cause' we do not have a choice; the time is running out and we need her." I said to convince him. Convincing Terry was just a piece of cake for me; we have been together since my parents die and he ran away from his abusive household; after that, we were inseparable. He is my only best friend and partner in crime. He understand me like no one else I told him what I feel "I don't know why I'm doing this but, when I pointed the gun right at her head she wasn't afraid., neither of the gun nor me; she didn't even blink, just looked straight at me. She just wanted to die; this is what we need, you saw that too; Right?" While remembering all that happened last night, other than the fearlessness in her eyes I saw some mysterious and strange emotions. Something I have never seen before, maybe it was a mix of different emotions. "Ok I understand, but will your old man understand the same too?" Terry said bringing me back to reality. "We'll do something..." Suddenly I heard the noise, of something breaking from the room I kept her. The room was close to my office which is why I hear the noise loud and clear. Terry and I both rushed to her.
When I open the door and I saw the bed empty, my eyes searched the room and I found her sitting on the floor beside the broken vase with glass shattered around, then my eyes stuck on her hand, it was bleeding and she was holding the glass tightly in her hand. However, her eyes, do not even look like she is in pain they were just looking at another hand. I called her softly because I was afraid she would hurt herself. She looked at me, "Hazel, put that down" I said. She didn't respond for a second but then she realize she was not alone in the room she got up moved to the corner of the room pointed that glass piece at us and said "Stay away!". I moved a foot back while seeing the blood dripping from her hand on the floor but she was still holding the glass. I hinted to Terry to go out and call Anna, while I stayed in the room with her trying to calm her down. "Calm down, we are not going to hurt you Hazel," I told her. Strangely, she laughed.
