Hazel grey
My head was throbbing with pain as I slowly opened my eyes. I was in bed, in my room. I tried to recall what happened.
I closed my eyes then I remembered the fire, as the flames of fire grew larger from the warehouse my heart started beating out loud, it scratched open my wounds. The memories of that night came flooding into my mind. The pictures of the burning warehouse from that night started playing in front of my eyes when I saw that raging fire. My screams for help were the only voices my ears heard. The pictures of Jennet burning alive were all that playing repeatedly in my head.
I opened my eyes again; I didn't have the strength to fight my fears.
As I was remembering it all I realized that my hand was holding on to something, it was Aiden. I was holding his hand and his eyes were staring at me.
In another moment he pulled another hand and wiped off a tear from my cheek I don't know when it came down rolling.
"Are you okay?" he asked quietly.
"Yes" I hurriedly left his hand and got up, but he was faster than me. As I let go of his hand he supported my back to make me sit down straight.
"Thank you" I murmured.
"What happened?" I asked before he could ask so he wouldn't get any suspicion on me.
"You don't remember anything?" he asked.
"I just remember drinking with Mary, the crowd running, the...fire" I lied. My tongue stumbled upon the last word.
"There was a sudden fire outbreak at the club's warehouse you went to" he explained.
"Then you went missing and when I found you fainted" he completed.
"I was just...just got scared by...the fire and the. The crowd..." I lied.
"It's fine. As long as you are alright" he said. I feel bad lying to him, but I have to.
"Aiden? Something came up can you come downstairs?" Terry said suddenly entering the room.
"Oh, you woke up! Are you alright hazily" he asked seeing me.
"I...I'm alright" I said. I noticed Aiden's eye flinched over what Terry had just called me.
"I'm coming" Aiden growled.
"Okay," Terry said cautiously and walked out.
"You take rest. I'm sending some food, eat it. Alright?" he commanded.
"Okay," I said in Terry's style to mess with him.
I got up from bed as soon as he walked away. I grabbed my bag I took to the club with me and went straight to the bathroom to wash my face and my blooded knife I hid it in.
I tried to clean it with alcohol but I wanted to rewash them just to be sure.
I washed my face and my hands first then cleaned my knives.
As I was doing it my phone buzzed with a message in my back pocket.
Ezar: it was. Wasn't it?
ME: did I make it too obvious?
I tried to leave no potential traces behind but how did he know it?
Ezar: I'm afraid to say but no.
ME: then how did you have it?
Ezar: the red scarf! Grey's signature style!
A smirk crept onto my lips.
