Lia : Heyy hii Resa. How are you?

Resa : Ok mam. Today manager is absent. Don't know why. Boss said you will meet him straight.

Lia : what 😳. Chris is absent today ? These two years of work. He didn't took leave even for a day.

Resa : Oh. Iam too suprised mam.

Lia : Ok. Just don't call me mam. Iam just 23 😅. its sounds like iam old.

Resa : Oh Ok Lia..😁

Lia : Ok i'll meet boss.

You left to his cabine.

Boss : Yes get in. Today manager is absent. So i appointed you to do his work. Nothing more. You may leave.

Lia : Thank you boss.

You doing your work. But thinking about Helen. He didn't gave you any messages.

At lunch time.

Lia is eating and Resa joined her..

Resa : Hey Lia

Lia : Hmm hii. 😊

Resa : what's in your mind. I think you're thinking about something deeply ?

Lia : No just tensed about work.

Resa : Oh. Ok.

You both ate. And strated to do your works.

After working hours.

Boss : You did really a good job Lia. You handled it smoothly..

Lia : Thanks boss. Chris always used to talk about his works. That helped me today. 😁

Boss : Glad to have such Workers in my office.

Lia bowed to him and left

Lia came to the gallery to see helen

You came and searching for him. But you couldn't find him. Someone is sitting in his table and working.

You came to the watchman and asked about helen.

Lia : watchman uncle ? Where is Helen ? He is not here today ?

Watchman : Not only today mam. He resigned from here.

Lia : 😮😳 what ? Resigned ? Permanently ?

Watchman : Yes mam. He did. He will never come here again i hope so.

Lia : ( you're worried ) And you are afraid of not knowing what happened.

You dialled helen but he didn't pick your call. You noticed a thing , He came online lastly when he messaged you.

Lia :OMG what happened to him ? ( you got lil afraid)

You approached the Gallery's Manager who is taking care of the gallery

Lia : excuse me mam. Can i know Why Helen is resigned ?

Gallery's manager : Hm he never told the reason miss. He just resigned and went. You know , it's a lose for us. We missed an great artist.

Lia: Ok mam. You know anything about him ? Like his address ?

Gallery's manager ; no mam. We don't even know his phone number also. Sorry for you. May i know who you are ?

Lia : Hm.. Ahh.. Yeah.. Iam an architect.. I need information about him. So i did asked you.. Nothing more mam. Iam leaving.

Gallery's manager ; Ok miss

Lia went to take her car. She don't know what to do. Her heart his beating fast. Her eyes got teared up. She is not okay. So she thought of meeting granny.

At barber shop

Lia came there and she hugged her granny.

Granny : Hey dear what happened ?

Lia : Granny iam.... ( crying )

Granny : hey girl don't cry.. What happened lia ?

Lia : Granny. He... Helen.. He resigned from his job. He didn't pick my call also. I have tried many times granny.. But.. He didn't.

Granny : Oh my poor baby. Don't cry dear.

( she made you sit and gave a glass of water )

Lia keep on crying..

Granny : Try call him one more time dear.

Lia.:( Nodded ) and dialed him..

But... This time..

Lia : Granny ! He did switched of his mobile.. ( crying )

Granny : don't worry child everything will be alright please don't cry.. I can't see you like this.. Lia is a bold girl na. Hmm ? Don't cry baby. Go home. Get a nap. You will be alright.. Everything will be alright my child..( she felt bad about you )

Lia : (nodded)

She drove her car to her home. She is crying all the way.. She got home didn't eat. Crying crying.. She didn't sleep all the night

Lia : where do i go search for him ? My god! ( crying ). (She is thinking about what happened yesterday..)

Yesterday helen called her to just hear hee voice...

Lia : Helen.. Where are youu..?

And the sleepless night.....
