Few days past and Yechan was seeking opportunities to talk to Jaehan. And he noticed that Jaehan went to the college library alone each evening so Yechan had decided to wait there and finally get to talk to him. Yechan didn't even tell his friends he just went alone.

It was a cold evening and Yechan had waited for almost an hour, when he finally spotted Jaehan entering the library. He was wearing a hoodie and had a book tucked under his arm.

So cute...

Yechan's heart raced as he watched Jaehan make his way to a corner of the library.Yechan couldn't help but smile. He was finally going to get to talk to him!

When Jaehan caught sight of Yechan, his eyes lit up.

What's Yechan sunbaenim doing here?

He was even more surprised when Yechan started walked up to him. He quickly pretended like he was reading a book.

Yechan cleared his throat and walked towards Jaehan.

"Hey, uh, I'm Yechan. I'm a senior"
he said, trying to sound casual.

Jaehan looked up from his book, a little startled.

He's talking to me???

"Oh, hi. I'm Jaehan. I'm a freshman"
he said, smiling shyly.

Yechan smiled back.

"Yeah, I knew that. I mean, uh-you- you are friends with Junghoon right? That's why I decided to come here and talk to you"
he said, blushing a little.

HE KNOWS MY NAME!

Jaehan's face lit up.
"Oh, wow. That's really sweet"
he said, looking at Yechan with admiration.

“Do you want to sit down and talk for a while?”
Yechan asked.

Jaehan nodded while giving the cutest smile ever.
“Sure.”

Yechan smiled back. He was relieved that Jaehan wasn't pushing him away.

They talked for hours, and it felt like time had stopped. They talked about their classes, their hobbies, their dreams, and so many other things. Yechan was grateful for the chance to get to know Jaehan better.

As Yechan and Jaehan talked, Yechan realized that his crush was growing stronger. He hoped that someday, he and Jaehan would be more than just friends.

At the end of the day, they exchanged numbers. As they walked out of the library, it felt like everything was right in the world. It was the sweetest moment of Yechan and Jaehan's lives.

"You know what? I think you're really cute."
Yechan suddenly said when they both came out from the library.

Yechan what the hell?

He was shocked at his own words.

Jaehan blushed at the compliment, but he couldn't help but smile.

Why are you so cute Jaehan?

"I'll get going sunbae. My friends are waiting for me."
Jaehan said politely.

"Sure Jaehanie~ see you again!"

Jaehanie?

Jaehan blushed.

They said their goodbyes, and Yechan watched as Jaehan walked away, his heart feeling lighter than ever before. He couldn't wait to see him again, and he knew that the next time they met, it would be even sweeter.

Yechan had gone back to his friends,feeling giddy and happy. He couldn’t hide his happiness. He was grinning from ear to ear and scratching his neck like an idiot. Xen being the most observant of the group, noticed Yechan's unusual cheerfulness.

"Where were you in the whole evening Yechan?"
Xen asked.

Yechan smiled, still lost in his thoughts of Jaehan, and answered,
"I was in the library."

Everyone was surprised to hear that Yechan had gone to the library.

"I'm sorry what? The library?"
It was Hangyeom.
"What were you doing in the library??"
Jehyun asked.

"I was just....reading?"
Yechan replied avoiding eye contact.

"You read!?"
Hyuk was literally in disbelief.

Yechan didn't say anything and Sebin was staring at Yechan.

Don't tell me it's that fresher.

Sebin felt sudden twinge of jealousy, and he scowled.

"Yechan, what's so special about the library that you had to go there? You like never go in to the library before? Don't you?"

"Nothing. Just looking around."
Yechan responded.

Jehyun noticed the dreamy look in Yechan's eyes.

"You were talking to him right?"
He asked.

But Yechan didn't answer he was just kept spacing out. Jehyun and Hangyeom exchanged a knowing glance.

"So you're really into books huh? I can see you're keep smiling."
Hangyeom teased Yechan.

"I'm just happy okay?"

"Well glad you're happy."
Xen said holding his laugh.

"You are really full with surprises Yechan."
Hyuk also joined.

The group exchanged looks, but Yechan was just keep smiling, still in his own little world.

Jeahan was so excited that he ran heading straight to his friends. When he saw them he couldn't contain his joy. His friends immediately knew that something has happened from the way Jaehan was acting.

"Guys guess what??"
He said.

"What happened? You were with Yechan, didn't you?"

"I was with Yech- what? How did you know?"
Jaehan's eyes widen.

"You asked us to guess so I guessed."
Junghoon laughed.

"So tell us what happened??"
Taedong was curious.

"I met him in the library. We talked for a while and it was so nice."
He shared every detail of his conversation with Yechan.
"He was so sweet."
Jaehan's cheeks were red.

"Sounds like you two really hit it off"
Hwichan smirked.

"Aww our Jaehanie is so in love."
It was Kevin.

Jaehan and his friends were teasing Jaehan laughing together. Also they were so surprised to see that Jaehan was so chatty for the first time in a long while. They were so touched to see Jaehan was genuinely so happy, after the death of his parents.

The five of them shared a group hug. Jeahan felt so blessed to have such amazing friends who were always there for him.
