The morning sun shined through the windows, I frowned and took the bed sheets to cover my face.

Bad Idea.

The room's temperature was of a burning oven forcing me to get up. I crawled to the mini table to grab my phone and quickly swap through to see the time.

Eleven in the afternoon

— I passed out the entire day — I muttered, irritated at my headache that I've been feeling since I woke up.

But one thought flew my attention somewhere else, Shuhua isn't here, she isn't in the room, and it looked like there was no evidence of her presence.

— Was I truly dreaming? — I rubbed my eyes completely so the rest of blurriness could withdraw.

The sunlight rays shining throughout my face gave me a completely bothersome feeling, I needed to get rid of it quickly. I rapidly closed the curtains and went to the bathroom, taking a quick shower will help me recapacitate.

But if honestly Shuhua was never there, how come she would end up in the dorm?

All she remembered was feeling super devastated, the feeling must have been overwhelming to the point she can't remember what exactly happened last night.

I kept in my thoughts to even forget the chilly water that rained through my body, the freezing cold hit me, and I quickly gasped and grabbed the handle changing the temperature.

Even if it were for a short minute, I could use this time to regain a little of my sleep.

Not after dressing myself up and wrapping a towel around my hair, Yuqi quickly called (not really since she right away screamed at the door) while knocking at the door.

— Alright, I'm going out — I halfway yelled quickly wearing my glasses and opened the door.

— What? — I answered looking at Yuqi, I could sense she felt unamused.

—You cannot just ignore my messages, Soyeon and I were searching for you — I frowned hearing Yuqi's statement, questioning whether Shuhua sent me to the dorm again.

—Huh? Sorry Yuqi, all I remember is feeling really upset and then waking up here— I sighed while holding the door handle.

—It's alright, after all, I knew Shuhua would have taken care of you— So it is true, I thought.

I nodded with a normal face yet a slight smile couldn't resist forming. After that Yuqi left and I let my hair dry for a quick second, as I finished fixing my hair, I went to the living room. From there I could see Minnie on the couch scrolling through her phone.

Somehow flashbacks get in, within those split seconds I could recognize I did talk to her, though it did not end up in a good way. I shrugged it off.

I sat down across, waiting for the rest to come out and bid my goodbyes, I knew in couple hours I had to go back to work, Yuqi would come in late though looking back at how she's been clingy to the blonde girl that I just met these 2 days, Soyeon.

Something tells me this isn't the first time she's been like that with the girl, something tells me there's more context to this.

I could for sure tease Yuqi about this.

I kept scrolling through Instagram to see any of my friend's posts, trying to distract myself again, later on the two troublemakers decided to show up too.

—Good morning, everyone— Soyeon smiled greeting everybody, I greeted back and got up to leave not before saying goodbye.

—Good morning Soyeon, it was a nice meeting but sadly I have to go back home— Soyeon then understood and bid me goodbyes, not before we exchanged numbers, she seemed pretty cool and I'm happy to make a new friend.

Shuhua had left even before I woke up, she had some family reunions, so it all made sense anyway. I exit the blonde girl's house now guiding myself to my house, I could use the extra time to re-think about all that has happened but I would need someone to talk about it with.

Overthinking lots of things happening right now isn't the best path to take. Minnie's confession made all of my life take a little turn of events, and honestly i can feel a plot twist coming in.

It was a sunday and since there was no work to be done, I wanted to as well take time for myself and go to the mall. I got into the car and drove all the way over there; it was difficult at first trying to avoid all the dancing propaganda thrown everywhere.

There was a store full of plushies passing by, I decided to stop since they were so cute to not admire, one caught my attention, a plushy bear.

Tiny flashback

—Hey love! — Minnie said with a lot of enthusiasm while leaning on the doorway, meanwhile Miyeon said with a full smile and surprise from the sudden visit.

—Hi min min, what brings you here? I thought you were on campus? — Miyeon said with a bit of curiosity.

—Well... I happen to have free time and wanted to buy you some stuff— Minnie said now showing the red bag with something inside.

—But you already bought me so much stuff— Miyeon said worried while opening the bag and unwrapping the paper.

She then felt something soft like fur, she frowned at what the gift might be and then took it out

Miyeon then felt tears going out of her eyes, Minnie then came and hugged her while resting her face on her shoulder, whispering Happy Anniversary.

The gift was for their 1-year anniversary since they started dating, which consisted of a teddy bear with a little tiny box on it. Miyeon smiled even brighter when she knew what was inside that very box, it was a promise ring. Yet what made her smile the most was going to fiercely break her heart.
