I ducked under the kick. Rin threw a kunai at me. I turned on my new Mangekyō Sharingan, using Kamui to allow it to go through me. I turned off the ability, hitting Rin with a punch, before turning Kamui back on to negate a chakra scalpel hit. My eyes were bleeding, as this had been a routine in our fifteen-minute fight. I tapped out, not wanting to overuse my chakra.

We walked into the village, reaching the Yamanaka Flower Shop. I bought three lilies, Rin bought one. We walked to the graveyard, placing our flowers on our friend's graves. We sat at Obito's grave, telling him about our day. It was beginning to be evening and we were to be going out to eat with Kakashi in a couple of minutes. This routine had been going on for the twelve weeks since Obito's death. We all go to Obito's grave, Kakashi in the morning. Rin and I in the evening. We go out to eat on Fridays and whoever pays gets switched every week. This week, it's Kakashi's treat.

When we got to Ichiraku's, Kakashi was already sitting there.

"Good evening," I said, getting up on a stool to his left. Rin got up on his right. Kakashi nodded in acknowledgment. We ordered our food and ate with a little small talk. Kakashi paid and we left to go home.

Kakashi was walking us home, but a hawk circled above us. It dropped a scroll, addressed to Rin. So Kakashi was left alone with me. We continued with the schedule, and him walking me home.

When we got there, I invited him into the house. I didn't bother to clean, but his house was the same. We both didn't have the motivation to clean anymore. I took my sandals off, going to my record player. I put a 7-inch in, Stand by Me starting to play around the main room.

Kakashi smiled under his mask, holding a hand out for me to take. I took his hand, and we began to dance. He directed us around piles of clothes that I took out of Obito's room and didn't give away yet. He spun me around, pulling me into a hug.

We stood like that for a while, even after the song ended and replayed. He reached up, pulling his mask down. Kakashi was cute. I reached up, rubbing the lower part of his scar. He didn't flinch at my hand. It was weird of him to be taller than me, as he had only gotten taller recently. Then Kakashi leaned down and kissed me.

When I woke up, I was encased in muscular arms. I looked up from where I was laying and saw Kakashi's face, resting on the pillows of my bed. I reached up, rubbing my fingers over his scar. His right eye opened, looking down at me with a smile. He leaned down, kissing me on the forehead. I moved his arms, getting out of bed and into my regular clothes. It was my day off, so I was going to be doing some shopping. When I got back into my room, Kakashi was still lying in my bed.

I looked at the calendar on my wall. September 15th, Kakashi's birthday.

"You got the day off?" I asked him as he sat up on my bed.

"Yeah, I'm assuming you do too?" He looked down at my clothes, a red minidress with black stockings, a decade-old statement of fashion that made older women cringe at the length of my skirt, not something I usually wear on missions. I nodded, putting some dangly earrings in. I also grabbed a pair of black mary-janes and my headband. I let the headband dangle like a necklace, holding the shoes until I got to the door.

Kakashi stretched his arms above his head, flexing his muscles around his tank top. He got out of my bed, putting his vest and headband back on. We left my room, into my kitchen. Kakashi allowed himself to make some eggs, sitting at my table. We ate the food. He put his mask back on, leaving my house with me.

When we got to Kakashi, he let me in. He had just taken in a few puppies, he was thinking of making a pack for himself. I pet the pups, giving them treats. That gives me an idea. He changed clothes, said goodbye to his dogs, and left with me.

Yamanaka's flower shop was our first stop. We got our normal flowers, placing them on Obito's, Masaki's, and Ryo's graves. After that pitstop, we moved into the markets, buying groceries.

"Well, I'm going to buy clothes, do you wanna come with me?" I asked. He nodded, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. We walked to the clothing store that offered modern clothes, mod style. I bought more clothes, dresses, and skirts in bright colors, stockings to hide my bruising from missions, and a nice pair of work boots. I left the building, leaving Kakashi behind slightly, and made a shadow clone. Kakashi left the building to buy him a present before he could see the shadow clone.

My clone ran around Konoha, to the Inuzuka pound. I entered the building, talking to Tsume, the head of the clan, and her young daughter Hana. "Do you guys have any pups I could adopt?" I asked. Tsume nodded, bringing me into the back room. Hana grabbed onto my leg, letting me drag her around the building. Tsume brought me to a cage, a small pug sitting on the floor.

"His name is Pakkun and he was a summoning animal, so he can talk. His owner abandoned him and there aren't any other summoners with their contract. He also appears to be the only one on contract." I nodded at the information, reaching my hand through the bars. Pakkun approached me, sniffing my hand. He shoved his head into my hand, allowing me to pet him.

"I'll take him." I signed the papers, putting all of the names as mine. So technically he was mine, but co-parenting existed. Co-parenting a dog, what has my life come to?

I walked back to Kakashi's house, introducing Pakkun to the rest of the pack. He had spoken to me and he knew I was a clone. He was way smarter than he looked. By that point, my real body and Kakashi were walking back here. When they got here, the clone disbanded, leaving without a trace.

Kakashi opened the door, his dogs didn't approach him like normal. They were around Pakkun, the dog I had bought for him. The other dogs seemed to like him, so his pack was complete. Kakashi approached the new dog, looking back at me. "Did you get him?"

"Yeah, his name is Pakkun, and he has an actual summoning contract, so you don't have to make one. He was also trained to be a summon and he can talk." I think I out-gifted everyone who had ever given him a gift, but that's a good thing. I don't want some random fangirl beating me at giving gifts to my boyfriend.

He stood up, rushed over to me, and hugged me. He lifted me, resting me on his hip like a child. I kissed his cheek, pulling his mask down slightly. He pulled it down the rest of the way, kissing me on the lips. "The big thirteen, I got a pack and a girlfriend. Best birthday ever." He muttered, pushing his face into my shoulder. We dropped onto the ground, sitting in the middle of his dogs. I pulled out the summoning scroll for Pakkun, which contained a few names, people who seemed to be dead, and my name. Kakashi signed it with his finger, pulling Pakkun into his arms. I closed the scroll, setting it on the table behind me. The rest of Kakashi's dogs pilled onto me, drowning me in fur.
