Five years of my life I've spent here. I've spent five years with Kakashi.

I woke up bright and early on his birthday, before him as he came home kinda late last night, and walked down the stairs as quietly as I could. I grabbed a cake out of our fridge, that Kurenai had baked and given to me, and set it on our kitchen island. I also set an alarm on a spare clock to go off at 5 PM.

I felt his chakra flare from upstairs and heard some rustling from our bedroom. I heard his heavy footsteps clammer down the stairs and I opened my arms for him to hug me. He followed my indirect command and lifted me.

"Happy eighteenth," I muttered, pressing my face into his neck and throwing my arms over his shoulders. "And happy anniversary,"

"What are we going to do on your birthday, because my birthday is our anniversary," Kakashi turned his head to kiss me on the cheek and then set me down.

"We don't need to do anything, just you being there is enough." I walked over to the barstools and sat down, pulling a fork out of the holder on the countertop.

"Now I'm planning something," Kakashi sounded like he was smiling. "I'll run it by you later." He sat down next to me and grabbed his fork and a knife. He cut the cake and I stood up to get a plate.

After two years, I had memorized where everything was put in our cabinets. I opened the third cabinet and reached up slightly to the second shelf. I gripped two plates and pulled them off the top. I returned to the island and set the plates down in front of Kakashi. I sat on my barstool and Kakashi put a piece on my plate.

After our cake for breakfast, we went onto our couch to relax. I put some music on and laid on Kakashi's chest while he read a book. I fell asleep soon, with the slight sounds of Fleetwood Mac and Kakashi's breathing lulling me into my subconscious.

I woke up to the alarm I set, it was 5 O'Clock. Kakashi groaned at the noise from underneath me, pulling me closer to him. "Come on, let's get ready," I said, pulling his arms off of me and getting off the couch to go upstairs.

The alarm went off on its own as we walked up the stairs, him trailing after me. I walked into our closet and trailed my hands over my side, searching for a specific dress that I had bought recently with Kurenai's help. I found it, hanging on a metal hanger and made of embroidered fabric. I pulled it off, stripping off my pajamas and pulling the dress over my head. I grabbed the sinch at the waist, pulled it around my waist, and tied it in a bow at the back.

I reached up in the closet, searching for a pair of heels. I had bought them many years ago, for Kakashi and I's first dinner date to be exact. I couldn't find them. I felt Kakashi reach higher than me and heard him grab something. "The black heels?" He asked, moving his hand backward.

"Yeah, the ones that I wore on our first date," I answered, hoping he would remember.

"So I'm assuming I should wear what Asuma gave me yesterday," Kakashi handed me my shoes and turned to his side of the closet.

"Yeah, Asuma and Kurenai helped me plan today." Kakashi chuckled.

"They also helped me plan something for today." Kakashi walked out of the closet after changing, me following him. I heard the sound of things shifting and a drawer opening. I sensed his hand clenches around an object, but I couldn't tell what it was. "Shall we go," Kakashi's arm was bent, so I hooked my arm with his. He guided me down the stairs and guided me to our kitchen so we could put our shoes on.

"C'mon, we have a dinner date to go on," I pulled at his arm and ushered him out of the house. I led him to the area that I picked out for our date, a small section of the Uchiha grounds near the Naka River, where he hugged me for the first time eight years ago.
