Everyone stood outside the giant church's doors on either side of the grand marble steps, itching to see the anticipated bride and groom to make their way down them.

The crowd, consisting of most of the kingdom, stretched on for what seemed like miles.

Mipha was almost reminded of the beautiful celebration held in honor of the slain zora princess. Those events almost seemed like they had happened ages ago.

Standing next to her was, of course, Revali, and the rest of their good friends, waiting to see the new king and queen.

Finally, at long last, the church bells at the top of the tower began ringing out their joyful song, and the giant wooden doors opened, revealing Link and Zelda, standing hand in hand in the doorway.

Some of the rito children waddled down the aisle, tossing handfuls of flowers and petals into the air and onto the pathway where the newlyweds would walk.

Zelda's white gown was absolutely beautiful, and her veil was so long you could hardly tell where it ended. Link stood by her side in quite possibly the fanciest clothing he'd ever worn, beaming with joy.

"Look! There they are!" Tulin chirped, motioning towards them. He was sitting atop his father's shoulders of course.

The crowd around them erupted into cheers as Link and Zelda made their way down the steps, waving at the spectators.

Zelda was quick to catch Mipha's eye, and she offered her the biggest wave of all.

Mipha and their friends waved back, watching as the king and queen made it to the bottom of the stairs and stepped into the beautifully adorned carriage waiting for them.

Revali couldn't help but sigh a little, causing the zora princess to look up at him.

"What is it?" she asked, watching as he shook his head.

"Oh, nothing. I'm just glad we got to skip the ceremony; I always find those things incredibly dull," he replied bluntly.

Mipha giggled a little, Revali was one of those people that would never change.

She tenderly reached down to grab hold of his wing, and she could feel him perk up slightly.

"You truly are a character, Revali. I love that about you," she sighed happily, watching as Link shut the carriage door behind him and Zelda.

The crowd roared as it began driving off, trailing little white flower petals in its wake.

The rito couldn't help but laugh. "Well..." he chuckled, "I suppose that's one way to put it."

The End.
