Chapter 13 "Milaya"

Zathrian's POV

"Can you please tell me what happened to my sister?" I tried to hold up my anger.

"I don't fucking know yet okay, she called me asking for help." The woman in Infront of me explained.

"Why the hell would she call you, Vandestine? She doesn't even have your number." I said furious.

"Uhm parang kasalanan ko yun?" Lumingon kami kay Elle.

"What do you mean," I asked.

"Ehh! Wag niyo nga ako tignan ng ganyan, si Valencia kaya nag utos sakin!" Turo niya kay Valncia.

"What?! I thought we agreed not to interact with her yet?!"

"I know, I know, but I just wanted to make sure she's safe okay?"

I massaged my temple. Trying to calm myself down.

This wouldn't have happened if I didn't let her go alone, I'm so stupid, I thought she was finally safe from all of this bullshit.

"Is she okay now? Can I see her?"

Hindi ako maka hindi sakaniya, she deserves to see her, even for just a few minutes.

"Sure she's still sleeping, don't wake her up," I said with a deep voice.

Pumunta kaming tatlo sa taas kung nasaan ang kwarto ni Vlanca.

We left Vandestine there so she could have a moment with her.

"Anong sasabihin mo sakaniya?" Tanong ni Elle pagkapabas namin ng kwarto.

"I'll just tell her half the truth, na trafficker yung lalake and he tried to do something bad to her."

"Why not sabihin mo nalang ng buo?"

"And confuse her until she goes crazy? No fucking way, I won't let my sister go through hell again."

She just sighed at me.

Valencia's POV

I just stared at her, wondering how it could have been kung palagi akong nasa tabi niya para maprotektahan siya.

"I'm so sorry, Milaya, I wasn't there again to protect you," I said and kissed her forehead.

After she called me earlier ay hindi na ako nagsalita pa at dali daling pumunta kung nasaan siya,

I kept a tracker on her phone that time she left it at the bar. Ibinalik ko yun sa bag niya nang ipaiwan ko siya sa classroom.

When I arrived earlier, she was curled up into a ball and was shaking in my arms, she was covered in blood.

"Milaya!, milaya!, Lovie please be fine."

I injected her with something to calm her down and to make her forget that she saw me there.

When I turned to look at the culprit of my darling's despair I saw that he was dead, I immediately checked his body for any sign that he's part of a group.

I saw that he had a tattoo on his arm, I already knew that he had something to do with this.

I called my women to clean the place up so no traces shall be seen, I also called Zathrian.

I was brought back to reality when she started talking in her sleep.

"Hmm, help Amory please."

She kept turning her head back and forth while trying to wake up.

I couldn't help but cry at her situation.

"I'm so sorry my love."

I cried silently with her while calming her down.

"I'll never fail you again, I promise."

Vlanca's POV

I couldn't remember what happened after that all I remember is waking up on my bed all bandaged up.

"Vlanca are you okay?" My brother asked as he entered the room.

"What happened, Zath?" I asked him.

He contemplated for a second.

"Someone tried to rob you yesterday, pero wag kang mag alala I took care of it, turns out he's a sex trafficker, good thing some police officers were in the area."

"Pero I don't- I." I couldn't form words. I'm so confused, hindi ko alam kung totoo ba ang mga naalala ko or it was just a trauma response?

"Hush don't think too much, you should rest wag ka kunang papasok ngayon."

"But I don't want to miss school, kuya," I whined.

"Hindi ka pa magaling Vlanca, look at yourself may sugat ka pa, hindi pa pwede." He said with authority.

Napa simangot nalang ako sakaniya kasi wala talaga akong magagawa kung ganon ang boses niya.

I just went back to sleep kasi ano panga bang gagawin ko.

When I woke up I felt something on my nose.

"Hoy nahinga paba to?" Rinig kong sabi ng babaeng boses.

"Gaga tignan niyo nga." Sabi naman ng isa pang pamilyar na boses.

When I opened my eyes nakita ko sila Zathrian at Tanya sa kabilang gilid ko at si- Miss Elle?!

"What the fuck?" Nasabi ko nalang dahil ang kamay ni Miss Elle ay nasa may ilong ko.

"Ay! hatdog na malaki!" Gulat niyang saad."

"Oh my God, Vlancy you're awake!" Tanya said at dali dali akong niyakap.

"Ouch!" Sabi ko nang matamaan niya ang tagiliran ko.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She apologized looking guilty.

"Yan katanga mo kasi alam mong nasaksak si accla eh." Sabi ni Vier at hinila ang buhok ni Tanya sa likod.

"Aw!" She screamed at sinipa si Vier malapit sa ano niya.

"Aso ka teh," Sabi ni Vier habang naminilipit na sa sakit, "aray ko."

"Miss Elle ano po ginagawa niyo dito?" I asked her.

"Ay ayaw mo beh?" Na offend na tanong niya.

"No, Hindi naman po sa ganon tinatanong lang eh."

"Ah, syempre as a wonderful responsible teacher dapat meron ako dito para sa students ko." She explained.

Naguguluhan parin ako pero tumango nalang ako.

Nag sasagutan pa sila Tanya at Vier nang pumasok si Zathrian sa kwarto.

He's holding a tray of food.

"Hoy tigil nga kayo diyan." Suway niya kina Vier.

"Eat ka na baby sis." His voice changed when he sat beside my bed.

"Ay may pa voice changer yarn?" Sabi ni Vier.

Napatawa nalang ako dahil dun kaya pati narin ang mga kasama ko.

Sinubuan ako ni Zathrian ng tomato soup at bread habang sino Vier naman ay pinapatawa ako.

We just talked and laughed the whole day which honestly made me feel better, they make me feel better. Isama na din si Miss Elle kahit di ko parin alam kung bakit siya nandito.
