Rick and Morty stumbled out of the garage and into the Smiths' living room, expecting to be greeted by their lively family. Instead, they were met with silence.

"Where is everyone?" Morty asked, looking around the empty house.

"I don't know, Morty. Maybe they went out or something," Rick responded, not sounding too concerned.

Morty shrugged and the basement to your room, while Rick went to the kitchen to grab a drink. As Morty walked to your door, he noticed that the door was slightly ajar. Walking down the stairs, he was surprised to see your body unconscious sitting at your workbench.

"Uh, Rick?" Morty called up the stairs. "You might want to come to check this out."

Rick made his way down the stairs and into your room, taking in the sight of you surrounded by various tools and gadgets. He leaned in for a closer look and noticed something strange.

'Their pulse is really weak...' Rick thought to himself.

"Y/N... Y/N wake up." He spoke, resting his hand on your shoulder and shaking you.

You groaned in response, stirring from your unconscious state. Morty let out a relieved sigh, happy to see that you were beginning to wake up.

"We need to get them to a hospital," Rick said firmly to Morty, as they carefully lifted you from your seat. Morty nodded in agreement, and the three of them rushed out of the house and into Rick's car.

As they drove towards the hospital, Morty couldn't help but wonder where the rest of his family was. They were always around, which made their eerie absence cause for concern. Once they arrived at the hospital, they rushed to get you medical attention.

After being examined by the doctors, they determined that you were fine, but your blood sugar was low. It wasn't bad enough to be diabetes, but they suggested eating something containing sugar a couple of times during daylight hours.

They discharged you that same day. They could've kept you longer but seeing as it wasn't severe they didn't see a need.

Rick and Morty were relieved to hear that you were going to be okay, but they still couldn't help but feel uneasy about the rest of their family's disappearance. They decided to go back home to see if they could gather any clues as to where they might have gone.

As they walked into the empty house, Rick suddenly stopped in his tracks. "Morty, look at this," he said, pointing towards a small, folded note on the ground.

Morty picked up the note and read it out loud.

"Make Y/N something to eat if they haven't already eaten, Summer is at a friend's house and Jerry and I are having a date night. Beth."

"Must have fallen from the table or somewhere." He assumed before shrugging.

"Food. Got it. I'm hungry." You spoke, walking into the kitchen and looking in the cupboards.

Rick rushed after you and closed the door you were looking in. "You can go sit at the table. I'm not risking you hurting yourself. Morty come to entertain your sibling." He ordered.

"Ha! Finally, an excuse to finally beat you at war!" Morty exclaimed, setting a set of cards down on the table before taking a seat.

You grabbed the deck and sat across from him as Rick began cooking something using the stove. You dealt the cards out.

As you played card games with Morty, you thought more about what your parents could be doing right now.

"I wonder what Mom and Dad are doing on their little date."  You spoke, with a snicker hinting in your voice.

Rick let out a low chuckle as he stirred whatever was simmering on the stove. "Who knows, Morty's dad is probably trying to impress her with his knowledge of apples or something."

Morty let out a laugh as well, slapping down a card on the table. "I think Summer would have more luck on a date. And I don't think either of our parents knows what to do on those." he shrugged.

"Those are yours, Morty." You spoke, pushing the two cards in the middle of the table towards your brother.

As the night wore on, Rick finished cooking and brought out plates of food for everyone. You all sat down at the table to eat, talking and laughing about whatever came to mind.

But once everything was put away, and everyone had gotten ready for bed, you weren't able to sleep.

You weren't sure what it was keeping you up. So instead of forcing yourself to go to sleep, you got up and walked over to your desktop and began playing games on your computer.

You felt a little bored so you grabbed your phone from your nightstand and placed it next to your computer. Having it face you as you press the record button. While also recording your screen.

"Hey, internet, I am not new here but I am new to posting stuff on it. I am going to be playing a horror game called Layers of Fear. I could've played this on my own as I have with other games such as all of the Five Nights at Freddy's, but I feel like it would be much cooler to do this for others. And because everyone in my household is asleep, it's also a try not to scream challenge. So this is going to be fun."

And just like that, you found something to fill your night with.
