Chapter 25

Ayanna's POV

I toss my hair around, not really wanting to deal with it much today. The temperature has lowered a bit since the sun is setting anyway so leaving it loose won't make me feel like I'm freaking melting. On the mirror I see my baby's figure walk past me, then her cute ass figure stands beside me.

'You gonna stay for the movie mami?' She wonders, her tone somewhere in between big and little

You see, today we had planned an outdoor movie night on Resha's backyard. She has a projector so the movie's gonna be played on a white blanket she'll set up along with some chairs or I believe a sofa, maybe a picnic blanket to sit. Thing is that she asked for permission to have a sleepover with Gemma after it which I agreed to so yeah, Imma watch the movie and then leave.

'I am sweetie, after it I'll leave you to you girl's sleepover.' I softly explain and kiss her forehead, only to receive some puppy eyes in return. My baby may have less of a hard time being little by herself than before but I know it may be making her a bit anxious now that it's actually happening. 'Do you have everything you need, love?' I wonder, she eagerly nods which I'm so glad for

'Yeah mommy! I put everything on the list, my deodorant, toothbrush, pjs, hairbrush, everything!' She perks up which causes a smile to spread across my face

'That's my good girl.' I kiss her cheek. 'Lets check on that just in case and then take the leave, sounds good?' She nods as an answer

We do just that, check her duffel bag to see if all of the things that she needs to stay over at Resha's for the night are packed...

'Mami, should I take these?' She wonders, holding up her bunny themed slippers

'There's some spare space baby so you can, but remember to not wear them outside okay?'

'Oki mami'

With that huge smile on her face that makes me the happiest mami in existence, she places the slippers on the shoe compartment right beside her crocs. She's currently wearing a long sleeve white shirt, black shorts, white sneakers and some cute socks with black stripes on top. Me on my side, I got on a light wash denim button up and skinny jeans complimented with some brown sandals. Anyway, we hop in the car where she plays a random playlist of mine that we sing along to all the way there...

'Welcome! Come in, come in!' Gemma excitedly says and we step inside

'Hey y'all.' Resha chuckles, shaking her head in amusement. 'It's all ready back there so yeah.. well, need ya help with something.' She directs herself towards me for that last part

'Follow me, I'll tell you where to put the bag.' Gemma smiles at Serene who nods at her softly

'Lets go.' My baby replies

They dissappear up the stairs and I turn to Resha...

'What am I good for?' I ask

'Just bringing in the bowls of popcorn so I can hold the snacks and I don't have to come back here.' She answers while pouring a bag of popcorn on an empty bowl 

'Got that.' I reply, placing my baby's diaper bag on the counter

'What's this about, mama bear?' She wonders playfully, I squint my eyes and she chuckles

'Serene's things, her pacis..' I briefly pause. 'The blue one is her favorite so give her that one if she asks for it, if she doesn't just leave it on the nightstand and she'll take it herself but I put another one in case that one gets soiled.' I show her said items. 'There is also a sippy, a bottle, her blankie that she also uses to sleep but not always, so don't worry if she doesn't has it when they get to sleep.' I look around some more. 'There is also another change of clothes just in case.'
