As we arrived at our classroom nearly half of the class turned to look at us, some were talking in whispers about the boy standing behind me, while others were just going about their own business. On the other hand, my friends were too occupied with what they were talking about to notice that I have arrived

As we got to their spot one of my friends finally noticed my presence

"Hey, Hyewon have you heard, there's a new transferee I heard it's a-" she then cut herself off as she noticed the boy's presence behind me.

"Hay guys I want you all to meet Yujin, Yujin these are my friends"

"Nice to meet you! I'm Gyuvin, this is Yuna, haruto, and the loser behind me is Ricky"

"Hey, who the hell are you calling a loser?!" The two then started to bicker as it was almost part of their daily routine.

"Don't mind these two, annoying each other is how they bond. It's nice to meet you by the way. It's good to meet new people, I've been stuck with these guys for god knows how long"

Yujin then laughed at Haruto's statement.

"Well it's nice to meet you guys as well"

'he looks even prettier when he smiles'

'wait... wtf am I even thinking'

I then shook the weird thought in my head then proceeded to sit beside yuna.

"Look at you socializing with people, our hyewon is growing up" yuna said while wiping off her fake tears.

I just rolled my eyes playfully as a reply.

"But seriously this is so unlike you"

"well to start I would come out rude if I just ignored him and I can't just leave and not help"

"Okay good point"

//* SCHOOL BELL RINGS*//

The room started getting quiet as we all saw the teacher walking down the hallway. Some of my classmates then returned to their seats.

"Yujin, you can seat here I'll be seating with haruto"

Yuna stood up gesturing for yujin to sit beside me.

"uhm okay, thanks?"


"Okay class, settle down now. We have a new student, please come up to the front" Ms. Kwon said as she gesture for the boy beside me to come to the front and introduce himself.

"Hi, I'm Han Yujin. I hope we could all get along"

I began to hear whispers again around the room, mainly from the girls.

'wah he's so cute'
'he looks like a baby'
'if he's in a kpop group he would fit as visual'

After his short introduction, he went right back to his seat beside me.

"Well, thank you for that short introduction. Hyewon I'm expecting you to help him around the school" Ms. Kwon said as she then started to orient us about the possible events this school year.

He then glanced at me with a smile plastered on his face and then focused his attention on the teacher in front.

I then looked at Yuna from the back and saw her looking at me with a smirk plastered on her face.

'what is this girl even thinking about'

//*Time skipped to lunch time*//

"So what do you think about your new seatmate?" Yuna asked with a smirk on her face.

"What do you mean" I asked as I took a bite from my sandwich.

"Like what do you think about him, do you find him cute? handsome? attractive? TELL ME!!"

well, he does look cute, not gonna lie about that but I ain't gonna just tell them, they'd tease nonstop plus they would probably tell my brother about this.

"I don't know, but he does look nice"

"I was hoping  you would say cute 'cause did you see him earlier HE LOOKS INNOCENT AND ALL THAT" gyuvin said sounding like a simp

"Why didn't you invite him to sit with us I bet he has no one to sit with"

"I was going to but you just got to drag us here right after the bell rang"

We then heard small chatter around the cafeteria talking about the new kid from our class.

"Hey isn't that Yujin? Let's invite him to sit with us" Gyuvin pointed at the boy who entered the cafeteria.

Before I could even say a word, Gyuvin already called him.

"Hey yujin over here" he shouted while waving his hand up in the air.

The new kid then walked towards us and gyuvin gestured for him to sit down patting the sit between us.

"sorry I wasn't able to ask you to join us, well I was supposed to but that guy beside you just got to drag us here right after the bell rang" I said while pointing at gyuvin. 

"It's fine, thanks for letting me join you guys" He replied with a faint undertone of shyness.

Giving him a reassuring smile Haruto spoke "By the way, you feel free to approach or talk to us comfortably, no need to be shy^^" 

"He reminds me of hyewonie when gyuvin and I first met her in elementary school" ricky suddenly brought up as gyuvin nodded, agreeing with the guy sitting in front of him.

gyuvin and ricky then started to talk about the time we first met.

"Oh I remember that day, she was so quiet that time. She would usually eat alone at her desk during breaks, but we offered her to sit with us so she wouldn't feel lonely" 

"It actually took us some time before she felt comfortable speaking to us, but as time goes by, we sometimes can't stop her from tal- OW! THAT HURTS"

I then smacked ricky in the head to stop him from what he was about to say.

"Both of you shut up and finish your food, it's almost time" I said as I took the last bite from my sandwich and glared at them.
