Chapter 12: Morning glow/ Making a deal

The red sun rose up from the dark hill, giving the once gloomy atmosphere a morning glow. The birds started chirping and the forest animals began waking up for the new day ahead. Y/n was sleeping soundly next to Jasper whom had been reading since around 4am. Y/n stirred and opened her eyes to see Jasper reading a rather beaten copy of Romeo and Juliet. Jasper looked at her and realised she was awake. 'Good morning princess' chirped Jasper, his voice seeming deeper than usual. Even though he didn't sleep. Y/n grinned happily. 'Good morning my love' yawned Y/n, gently. Jasper kissed her forehead while she yawned again. 

'What time is it?' asked Y/n, looking for a clock. 'It's 6am' said Jasper. 'What' groaned Y/n, she was hoping to have had a lie in. Jasper chuckled and then put the covers over her eyes. 'There, you can go back to sleep now' said Jasper, gently. Y/n closed her eyes and reached out of the covers looking for his hand. Then felt a cold hand suddenly hold hers, then a pair of lips for a quick moment. She went back in to a deep sleep and Jasper never let go of her hand.

'She's seems to have settled in quite well' said Esme, preparing what was to be Y/n's breakfast. She was making her favourite; Pancakes and coffee. 'Yes it's safe to say she's enjoyed her stay Esme and I know she'll love your breakfast' said Carlise, reading the morning paper. Esme smiled at him, her eyes full of adoration and love. He returned almost the exact same look at her. Even after so many years of being together, they will still so in love with one another. It melts everyone's hearts just by looking at them. 

At the dining table, Bella was eating her breakfast. Just some cereal that she had brought from home as she didn't want them to make much of a fuss of her. She too had stayed the previous night but in Edwards room. But must have come home late as Y/n never heard her last night. Rosalie and Emmett were out hunting. Edward watching Bella eat intently while also reading his favourite novel. Bella had so much to say but decided to remain quiet. 

Y/n awoke a little while later and felt a lot more refreshed. This time her stomach growled. Jasper smirked and kissed her on the lips gently. After they both got dressed appropriately they made their way downstairs, towards the kitchen. Jasper had gotten into some comfy clothes while Y/n was wearing her silk nightdress and a dressing gown. At first she wondered whether it would be best to get dressed right away but Jasper insisted she'd feel at home. And no one would make any negative regard anyway. As they entered the room Carlise and Esme greeted them both warmly. 

'Good morning Y/n, I hope you don't mind. I've made you your favourite' said Esme, kindly. 

Y/n's eyes lit up with joy. 'Wow thank you so much Esme, it look's delicious' said Y/n.

Esme smiled and seemed very happy with this. Y/n and Jasper sat down on the breakfast counter and they turned around to greet Bella and Edward. 'Hey' said Bella, quietly. 'Hello Bella' said Y/n, with a lot more confidence. Bella smiled and looked around awkwardly. 'I suppose were just the humans here' said Y/n, trying to break the ice a little. 'Yeah exactly. Anywhere else and we wouldn't fit in' said Bella. They both chuckled and Edward and Jasper smirked. 

Y/n went back to eating and drinking her coffee, the pancakes were amazing and she also had it with golden syrup and banana. 'Were they okay?' asked Esme. 'Esme they were amazing, thank you so much' said Y/n. 'I'm glad you enjoyed them and it's my pleasure. You know I'd love to cook for you anytime' said Esme. 

'It's time for me to be at the hospital now but I'll be back later. Just call if you need me Esme' said Carlise, kissing her sweetly. 'Goodbye darling' said Esme.
