╰┈➤ ❝ Some conversations I was going to add to chapter four but I didn't. So here while you wait for chapter six. You might be thinking 'omg she might pull out two or three chapters!' No. I procrastinate a lot and I have a loss of motivation but now I'm here. So this is a little 'wait chapter.' Chapter six is going to be a short chapter. Sorry, not sorry and I'm editing this book. But like I promised I will post chapter six probably by tonight and I will write the fillers.

"My brother's a dickhead sometimes."

"I'm sorry?"

Lo'ak chuckled as he made himself comfortable on the Tulkun's fin and Kxari laid on her stomach on the Tulkun's back. Her ears perked up in surprise when she heard Lo'ak's odd comment.

"Yeah, I noticed how he's always glaring at you. At first, I thought he had this huge crush on you but he's just being an asshole. I really don't know why. It's the first time he's ever acted like that with somebody else."

Kxari only hummed in acknowledgment. "Ah, It's okay, his looks don't intimidate me like they used to. I don't care anymore."

"So you're friends with a sky person?"

"Yeah, he's totally cool. But he's much more na'vi than a human y'know." Lo'ak sighed, reminiscing about his old friend. But the more he spoke about him he couldn't help but feel guilty. Sitting up from his laid down position he laid his head down on his knee.

"Where is he now?" Kxari could tell from the way his ears folded into his head that nothing good happened to the boy.

"He got kidnapped by his supposed dead dad. It's crazy."

Kxari placed a comforting hand on Lo'ak bicep and gave him a reassuring squeeze. "There will be a day when he will come back. I don't know if he's safe or not but I bet he's coming back."

Lo'ak didn't know if she was right or not but her reassurance gave him some hope. He smiled at her and put his own hand on hers.

"What was his name?"
