Ever since Xiang Yi Mo entered, she kept her eyes glued to the couple.

The man was dressed in a well-tailored suit and was embracing the woman in a white dress in the crook of his arm.

He faced the other people who came to flatter and talk to him from time to time.

His gaze was as calm as water, detached and polite, with the occasional hint of impatience.

His jet-black eyes only revealed a touch of tenderness and affection when he looked at the woman he had brought along.

The woman beside him was docile and always seemed to have a gentle, faint smile on her lips. She was gentle and understanding.

The woman clung to the man. When the man was not talking to other people, she would pull the man to lower his head and talk about something as she smiled coquettishly.

It was surprising that Xiang Yi Mo didn’t approach the two people. She just stood quietly, watching from the side not far away.

The fair round fingertips that squeezed the glass tightened as she smiled bitterly, brought glass after glass of wine to her lips, and drank it all down.

“Mo Mo, don’t drink anymore.” Lu Wang Chen stopped Xiang Yi Mo from raising her hand and snatched the glass out of her hand. “If you keep drinking, you’ll get so drunk that you’ll throw up again, just like last time.”

He wrinkled his brows. His heart ached even more, when he saw how she looked like she was asking for something she couldn’t get, suffering and holding back.

He even began to question whether this was really a good idea.

For the sake of Mo Mo giving up on him quickly, they deliberately told her the news this time. They pretended that they couldn’t stop her from going. But in reality, they wanted her to see those two being lovey-dovey in order for them to achieve their desired goal faster.

Xiang Yi Mo looked at him with confused eyes. “No, I’m not drunk. Bad guy, give me back.”

She stood on tiptoe. One hand held onto his chest, and the other tried to snatch away her glass of wine.

Lu Wang Chen sighed helplessly, handed the wine glass to Ji Heng Yu, and told him to take it and put it away.

Jing Qian also coaxed the little girl in a warm voice, “Mo Mo, you’re drunk. You really can’t drink anymore.”

Xiang Yi Mo fluttered her eyelashes as she let go of the hand pulling at Lu Wang Chen. She looked at Jing Qian and then at Ji Heng Yu, who had taken the drink away from her, and her little face became sad.

“(Whimper) You’re all bad. All of you bully me and won’t give me a drink. Then, I’m going to make a scene!”

As she said that, she became unreasonable.

With a fierce child-like voice, she walked in Qin Chu’s direction. Her little mouth cursed and swore as if she was going to run over to demand an explanation.

“Elder Brother Chu, Qin Chu… You bastard…”

Some people wondered how long this Miss Xiang would put up with them. But now, finally, she looked like she was going to throw a fit.

They were expecting some kind of tear-jerking drama, but it turned out that Xiang Yi Mo was carried by Lu Wang Chen and left the premise.

“Put me down. (Whimper) The person next to Elder Brother Chu should clearly be me! Elder Brother Chu is mine….”

Watching the rowdy Xiang Yi Mo being carried far away by his best friend, Qin Chu frowned and thought, ‘As expected, I have guessed that Xiang Yi Mo would disturb him.’

He was relieved inwardly. He clearly should have thanked his friend for stopping the drama in time and taking the person away, but he felt some unexplainable discomfort.

Very quickly, before he could discover why he was feeling discomfort, Qi Yan’s voice drew his attention back.

Of course, Lu Wang Chen and the others didn’t take Xiang Yi Mo away because of Qin Chu.

Not only did Lu Wang Chen not consider Qin Chu as a friend, but after Lu Wang Chen sent the surveillance video he had discovered and showed it to the other two, Jing Qian and Ji Heng Yu no longer considered Qin Chu as their friend either.

They just…

They just didn’t want Xiang Yi Mo to approach Qin Chu with that drunken, flushed little face, and they didn’t wish others to see her naive and seductive manner.

They wanted to hide her away.
