Firstly, it could mean “torturing the single dog” where single dog refers to singles or people who are not in a relationship/does not have a significant other. Secondly, the word “dog” could refer to describing someone who has done something small and unethical with little malice (such as telling a small lie to make the other person look bad), i.e. the despicable thing that was commonly mentioned in previous chapters.
It usually means the former plus Qin Chu was swarmed with PDA. But I feel like the author is referring to the latter in this case since, technically, Qin Chu is attached, right? Anyway, it is up to you, the readers, to decide. Just know that no real dogs were harmed in this chapter.
