Xiang Yi Mo acted as the only person who had forgotten about Qin Chu with perfection.

After some questioning, Jing Qian came to a general conclusion about Xiang Yi Mo’s situation, “Mo Mo’s selective amnesia is most likely indirectly caused by this attack.”

“After being stimulated externally, the subconscious mind avoided and forgot the things that caused her psychological damage.”

“As for the possibility of recovery, that’s a random probability. It could be the next moment, it could be forever ……”

Upon hearing that, Qin Chu looked at Xiang Yi Mo’s vigilance and hatred towards himself, causing his heart, which was full of holes, to be instantly torn open.

“How can this be? There must be some way for her to remember. Mo Mo, in the past, you ……”

Qin Chu was in a daze for a while. Then, he thought it might be an excellent opportunity to start over again with Mo Mo’s amnesia of not remembering that he had hurt her.

But Xiang Yi Mo would not give him any chance.

“In the past? What kind of past does Mr Qin want to talk to me about, hm?” Xiang Yi Mo uttered.

“About how Mr Qin hurt me over and over again? So much so that it makes me want to forget. It’s apparent how utterly terrible it was in the past. Otherwise, I wouldn’t only have extricated  out of my head, right?”

“So …… we didn’t have any past together, Mr Qin,” she said. She suddenly smiled, but it was icy.

“As for whether I’ll forgive Mr Qin for what you’ve done to me before, there is no such thing as forgiveness. I don’t remember any of that, so you don’t even have the right to be forgiven.”

“Since Mr Qin has said that you want to make it up to me, is it okay if you can disappear from my world forever?”

To him, Xiang Yi Mo was cold to the extreme.

There was unconcealed disgust in her words, the meaning behind her words, and even her eyes.

“After all, looking at you really makes me sick. I don’t really want to waste my affections for someone like Mr Qin.”

Xiang Yi Mo hugged Ji Heng Yu, who was the closest to her and snuggled into his arms. “I don’t want to see him again. Elder Brothers, get him out of here.”

“You don’t want to see him anymore?” Ji Heng Yu asked. His clear, magnetic voice spilt out from his throat, and he snorted softly in pleasure.

Xiang Yi Mo nodded as she wrapped her arms around him, “I don’t.”

Ji Heng Yu curled his lips, “Alright.”

He smiled beautifully like he usually did.

But that smile, coupled with an indifferent word “alright”, sent chills down Qin Chu’s back. For a moment, it was as if he had seen the smiling tiger who was ruthless to others.

Qin Chu knew very well how Ji Heng Yu could be outwardly harmless yet willfully toy with others in the palm of his hand.

That was why he was grateful that he was a friend and not an enemy of Ji Heng Yu. It was just that at the moment ……

Qin Chu raised his eyes and met Ji Heng Yu’s cold gaze. An immense sense of panic burrowed into his ragged heart.

He unconsciously took a step back as his eyes darted at Jing Qian and Lu Wang Chen in a panic, where he saw the cold contempt in his former friend’s eyes as if he were trash.

He felt so overwhelmed that he could hardly breathe as the blood in his body turned cold.

Suddenly, his mind was clear again.

Qin Chu suddenly realised how mighty the few people in front of him were. And even though he was now standing not far from them, the seemingly short distance was like a river he could not cross.

Twenty-six years into his life, Qin Chu had a profound taste of remorse.

In the end, he did not know how he had left.

All he knew was that his heart was like the approaching frosty winter.
