"Are you Dr. Michael?" Whatever work Michael was working halted briefly as he turns his gaze to the individual that asked his name, hearing the doors just moments ago opening as he saw a short green haired woman wearing a lab coat with tired eyes and dark bags forming under it, making him wonder who the person is and why they looked like that.

"Hmm....a workaholic, though she seems like she could faint at any moment." He thought as he observed the woman before him that stood just a few feet away from the door, nervously looking at him as though a prey caught by a predator, Michael admits that he was an intimidating individual even without the mask due to the notoriety of his experiments.

Though most are often exaggerated by previous colleagues who couldn't handle the way he creates things sure it might look unethical but at least he's just using clojes rather than live test subjects as most would often do, since he sees it as a waste to force unwilling into his experiments, clones are more versatile to use since he could just mix various DNA to ensure their qualities dont deteriorate.

"Yes, I am and who might you be?" He asked after touring through the base and Mei showing his lab after transfering all of his equipment along with various other tools and items that he had in his previous laboratory, Michael began his work without much complaint his current budget was 5 times than in his previous work but mostly because he has the entire world was supporting firemoth.

Ever since the honkai appeared which is a surprise to say the least, alongside the [Fractal] of which he had mannage to do some interesting experiments one he hadn't decided to share with others just yet based on what he had heard of Firemoth reckless experiments with the new powerful yet dangerous element, Michael decided to withhold the results he had discovered for the moment.

The [Fractal] was a very interesting yet strange phenomenon, unlike the honkai which is a extradimensional hostile entity that seeks to destroy the human race as a whole, the former was much more tamed and somewhat neutral than the latter that didnt hesitate to destroy mankind from the moment it had appeared to everyone.

And with it's unique nature and ability to alter anything when exposed to high concentration of honkai energy, results are quite valuable to say the least despite the damaged it causes, new type of elements are known just from the hasty experiments previously made by Firemoth scientist some of which are quite useful for him since he seeks new kinds of material to be experimented.

"M-My name is Klein I have b-been sent here by Dr. Mobius who wishes to meet with you in her lab for something important she wishes to discuss with you." Klein replied with a nervous look as Michael briefly contemplates on what he heard from her, Dr. Mobius a world renown genius unparalleled in the medical industry, a person even he had admired and respected due to her work which had helped him.

"Dr. Mobius you say? ...I'll think about it, perhaps later this afternoon I can meet with her, Dr. Mei had requested my assistant on some matter." Michael answered, a shame he couldn't meet the infamous doctor herself due to the need of Dr. Mei who's basically the chief scientist of Firemoth, the girl was a genius of her field and he isn't going to boast on being capable of surpassing her.

Michael's field of expertise is different from her, despite his unique inventions most of which relates to his field as a geneticist, biochemist, and biophysicist he doesn't have the knowledge nor experience to build technology rivaling Mei in her field, she's a different league from his as she was from his own and one he doesn't complain because why would he? It's a pointless time to make yourself look so greater from someone.
