Chapter 69 - Izuku's Birthday

With Izuku's birthday coming soon, Naomi had been busy. Not with work, but organizing the party. For someone that was an introvert, Izuku had a lot of friends. And this was discounting the fact that none of the friends that he made as Spider-Man were invited.

Amongst the group that was invited, you had the entire Internship team that Izuku had been working with, Izuku's school friends, the Bakugou's and the Uraraka's, Mira and Tanya, giving them a total of 29 guests with 4 additional guests who were coming as plus 1.

Naomi wasn't sure how she'd invite Peter and Gwen to the party considering the situation that surrounded those two. While she spent time organizing the party, ensuring everyone would come, and ensuring that Izuku was occupied, Mrs. Bakugou and Mrs. Uraraka offered to make food for the party with Mira and Tanya also helping from their end.

Hikari also played a crucial role in keeping Izuku busy, giving him work that would keep him occupied while everything was being set up on the day of his birthday at his own house. It was hectic, creating work out of thin air when there was no work to be done in the labs.

But Izuku seemed rather happy to help rearrange the boxes that were kept in the lab alongside the others.

By the time Izuku returned home, it was almost 7pm.

As Izuku walked to his house, he could hear multiple heart beats inside the house. He knew Naomi had taken the day off to rest after not feeling well for the past two days.

"What the hell?" Izuku mutters as he walks to the side of the house and climbs up to his bedroom and enters using his 'Spider-Man route' as Naomi often refers to it.

Carefully placing his bag on the bed, he grabbed his spare web shooters and some of the gadgets that he had created and made his way down. You see the thing about being Spider-Man for over three years was that you got really good at being stealthy, meaning you could walk down even the creakiest stairs without making the wood creak even once.

Unfortunately, this meant that Izuku scared most of the people at the surprise party as he entered the living room and saw everyone hiding in various places, away from the door.

"What the fuck are you guys doing?" Izuku exclaims as he quickly hides his web shooters under his shirt sleeves.

"AHH!!!" Some of the guests exclaim as they all turn around to see Izuku standing behind them.

"IZUKU! WHAT THE HELL!!!" Naomi exclaims.

"What?" Izuku asks her.

"I plan a surprise party for you, invite everyone you know and you surprise us by walking down from the room!! How did you even get up there in the first place?" Naomi yells at him.

'Right...' Izuku thinks to himself. "I... climbed up... using the... using the pipes. Yes! I climbed up here using the pipes!"

In the background, Izuku could see everyone that knew about his secret shaking their head and face palming at the pathetic excuse he had given.

"Well, regardless, happy birthday babe." Naomi tells him. "And next time use the main door like a normal human?"

"I'll keep that in mind." Izuku chuckles as Naomi hugs him. "Now, are we going to just stand around here or are we going to party?"

"Before we party." Katsuki speaks up. "How the fuck did you end up meeting most of our class?"

"Katsuki! Language!!!" His mother yells.

"What? It's a genuine question." Katsuki exclaims. "Do you even know how shocked I was to see Pony-Tail, Pipes, Charge-Dolt, Half-n-Half, Ears, Pinky and Shitty Hair following us to the metro station and then to your house after school?"
