"How much time you got left?" Aizawa whispers to All Might, careful to not be heard by the others.
"About 15 minutes." All Might answers.
"Go back then. I'll handle it here." Aizawa tells him.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. If we do need your help, I'll call."
"Keep me updated on what happens alright." All Might says as he walks over to Izuku and the girls. "Kids, I've got to take my leave now. Eraserhead will handle things on my behalf. If you need something, you can always ask him." Izuku nods as the taller pro leaves the house, walking out to the street and leaping into air going god knows where.
"Uraraka." Aizawa calls his student. "Can I have a word?" Ochako nods as she gets up and walks to Aizawa. "Are you okay?" Aizawa asks her.
Ochako nods once again. "Deku he... he protected us." She answers.
"He... told me about your question." Aizawa tells her. "I take it you got your answer as well."
Ochako hesitates, before nodding. "I... I don't understand though. Why... why would Mashirao lie?"
"I don't know his side of the story, at least aside from what he's told us, but if I had to guess, I don't think he knows the whole story. To him, his uncle did die. However, we think that the entire thing was made up. Scorpion and Midoriya... they seem to have a long history. Our current guess is that he, Scorpion, planned for this to happen, to have someone at UA openly hate Spider-Man to create tension between the student body and the staff over the issue. Nezu is looking into the matter."
"But why?"
"Probably to create mistrust." Aizawa answers. "Trust is an important thing in the Hero Business. Many lives depend on it. By creating a breach of trust, they're probably hoping to divide and conquer."
"I can't tell him about this, can I?" Ochako asks him.
"I don't think so. And Nezu believes that we should keep it that way for some time." Aizawa answers.
"Then..."
"That doesn't mean we can't give him an explanation as to what happened back then. We can tell him the truth about the incident and let him know that it wasn't Midoriya that killed his uncle but an imposter." Aizawa explains. "But that will require proof which we don't have currently."
"So a white lie then?" Ochako asks him.
"Yeah. Till we've got more confirmation." Aizawa answers. "We could show him record from that were made in the Dock Incident but seeing those files requires some clearances that neither you nor Ojiro have."
"What do you mean?"
"The Dock Incident reports, because of Mrs. Midoriya's death, need a C rank clearance or higher from the Hero Commission, which none of you, aside from Midoriya, currently have. So while I could show the report to Ojiro, all the names would have to be blacked out and a number of other details would need to be blacked out which would defeat the purpose."
"So there isn't a choice then." Ochako sighs.
"Listen, I know what this is about. And while I usually don't interfere with student relationships, that's more of Nemuri's job anyway, I will tell you this." Aizawa tells her. "Your future and career as a hero should be your priority. Along with making sure you survive your missions. Don't sabotage it because of something that may or may not last very long. It might seem mean on my part to tell my student this but I've seen students screw over their lives and their careers over relationships that crumble within a year after they leave. Valedictorians turned into drunkards and drug addicts because they couldn't cope with their relationships not surviving the turbulence of . I'm not asking you to not be in a relationship, just make sure you know yourself and your priorities. Got it?"
