⛔️Rain x Reader - After a late night swim⛔️

Your sitting in the Kitchen with Rain, drinking coffee and chatting.
"Hey, uh, thanks for taking me out to the lake yesterday," Rain says, rubbing the back of his neck, blushing slightly.

"You're welcome," you say.
"Do you want to go again sometime?"
"Yeah," you say, "I'd like that."

"Great!" Rain smiles. "Um... w-would you like to tonight?" He asks shyly, a soft flush on his cheeks.

"Tonight would be good."
"Great! See you then!"

You grin at him and he smiles back. He's so cute. You'd love to do this everyday. You sit in your room most of the day, taking care of paperwork until nightfall.

You change into a bathing suit and slip downstairs, to find Rain standing by the back door  in his swim trunks, waiting for you. He smiles when he sees you.

"Ready?" he asks.
"Always," you say, smiling back.

You two slip outside and into the water.

You watch as Rain's water ghoul abilities take effect, sprouting s few more fins and some gills around his neck and on his sides where his ribs are, and he seemed to have some blue scales in some areas too, he almost looked like a shark.

You watch as he swims away from you and goes down to the water's depths. You let out a small sigh, missing the warm water of your shower, but excited to enjoy the cool water of the lake.

You wade into the water until it's at the bottom of your hips. The water's so refreshing you sigh with pure joy. You watch as Rain's body gets further and further away from you until you can no longer see it.

You relax in the water, thinking about Rain. Your so caught up in your own thoughts, you don't notice when Rain swims up behind you you wraps his arms around your hips and pulls you into the water.

You smile and wrap your arms around his neck. He kisses you and you fall in love.

"This is nice," you say.
"Yeah, it is," Rain says. "I wanted to do something special to thank you for all the work you do for this place, and for...for just being you." He smiles.

"Oh Rain, you don't have to," you say.
"I want to," he shrugs. "It's what I want to do."
You and Rain continue to enjoy each other's company for a few hours.

You talk about everything and nothing at all. Eventually your not even sure what he's talking about as your lost in his eyes.

He notices your spaced out looking at his eyes and he chuckles.
"You're a really good listener," he smiles. "I like that."

You blush.
"I feel like I should tell you something," he says, serious.

"What?"
"Uh, I don't know...I love you."
You look at him, surprised.

"Uh, I know," he says. "I mean...I mean I love you too." He seems flustered and having a hard time getting the words out. "I think...I think I've loved you for a while now."

You look at him for a moment, unsure of what to say.
"I'm sorry, but...do you...?" He asks, looking back at you.

"I love you too, Rain."
He smiles and kisses you.

"I love you so much," he whispers into your ear.
You smile and nod. You gently caress his face, your thumbs rubbing over his cheekbones. You lean in and gently press your lips to his.

He presses his lips against yours, deepening the lip contact and the kissing. You hold his cheeks between your hands and pull him closer, deepening the contact. He wraps his arms around your midriff and kisses you back.
