With only the sound of utensils scraping against plates breaking the stillness, Taehyung couldn't help but steal glances at his master across the dining table. The anticipation of any remarks, good or bad, lingered in the air, hanging over their quiet meal.

"Tomorrow's breakfast," Jungkook began, pausing to take a sip of his drink. Taehyung immediately had his eyes casted down. He had been waiting for his master to say something, but the moment he heard his voice, he was definitely not ready to hear anything his master had to say.

"I don't want to go to your room every morning just to remind you of it. If you need an alarm clock, I can buy one for you."

"It's alright Master," Taehyung gulped hard as he replied. He then mustered a smile as he thought about the watch his brothers had given him. "I have a watch."

"But does it have an alarm, V?" Jungkook inquired, his tone slightly insistent.

Taehyung hesitated for a moment.

There's such a thing?

"I don't know." He admitted.

Jungkook sighed, seemingly unfazed. "No matter, I'll just buy one for you. Also, let me know if there's anything we need in the kitchen. I'll take care of it."

As the word "buy" echoed in the angel's ears repeatedly, Taehyung's guilt began to weigh on him. He understood how hard it was to earn money, and extravagantly wasting it felt...

"Master, do you have a garden?" Taehyung ventured timidly, searching for an alternative. Perhaps this suggestion could even make his master happy, an alternative that would show his initiative and gratitude.

"We don't have to spend money unnecessarily. I can help you grow your own vegetables."

Jungkook's brow furrowed in confusion. "What?"

He looked up and met the innocent gaze of V before him, clearly taken aback by how serious this angel was with his suggestion.

Grow vegetables?

"There are supermarkets for a reason, V," Jungkook responded and decided to brush off the question and continued with his meal. "I usually finish work by 7 or 8 pm, make sure dinner is ready. If I arrive home late, save it for breakfast."

Growing vegetables must be something his master did not need. Getting his hands dirty planting seeds, waiting for weeks to grow, equals to minute purchase of vegetables for his master.

What was I thinking?

Taehyung nodded, suppressing any further suggestions as realisation settled in, reminding him of the stark divide between their worlds.

But shortly after, he mustered the courage to offer another suggestion to his master, he believed was to help with the purchase. Maybe this time his idea would be considered.
