3rd pov

Sasuke slowly pulled away as he whispered with a blunt look.

"I like you..."

"What?" Naruto blushed as he was in pure shock, still not understanding what Sasuke said.

The raven softly gasped as he pulled away and grabbed the chopsticks.

"I agree...it tastes good." Sasuke lied as he served his bowl.

"YOU DON'T KISS PEOPLE TO KNOW IF IT TASTES GOOD!? IS THAT A THING IN JAPAN?" Naruto freaked out.

"Yes..." Sasuke lied again, leaving Naruto in pure shock.

"Anyways, let's watch that movie..." Sasuke grabbed his bowl and placed it on the table.

Naruto followed him and continued to eat, realizing he just experienced his dream in real life...

Time skip

"Naruto! You okay?" Kiba poked at Naruto's head who was deep in thought.

"Hey...did you guys know....my name meant fish cake?" Naruto mumbled.

"Well...yeah. mine is a Japanese origin "As a deer" kind of lame though." Shikamaru sighed as he drank his smoothie.

"Heh mine means many things! But I like to say it means Fang cuz it sounds cool!" Kiba proudly said.

"Heh, your name is a girl name though." Shikamaru teased.

"Nuh uh!? Who said!?" Kiba gritted his teeth.

"Said my grandmother who lives in Japan...I got a cousin named Kiba....a girl cousin. She says the name Kiba isn't commonly known as a boy name." Shikamaru smirked while Kiba blushed.

"Anyways cheer up Naruto, your name is cool too....did Sasuke tell you the meaning of his name?" Shikamaru asked.

"No...I'm gonna asked though...but we should go and eat...I need to get my mind off of something." Naruto blushed as he grabbed his journal.

"I agree, we should also go over our project together." Shikamaru suggested.

"Hehe, I guess I'll tag along since I'm just that guy!" Kiba smirked as he followed along.

And so...

"Ugh we always come here..." Shikamaru whined as he was on his phone.

"C'mon! This is my favorite place!" Naruto smiled, trying to forget the dream that happened.

"Fine...anyways let's order." Shikamaru looked at the menu while Kiba looked over Shikamaru's shoulder. Naruto looked at the menu, feeling a bit better. Suddenly, he came across their specials.

"No way they got ramen as today's special! Yes please!" Naruto smiled.

"Can I have a taste when you get it?"

Naruto turned around to see Sasuke leaning in, smirking.

"W-what...." Naruto blushed as he realized Sasuke was really close.

"Just kidding...I already ordered my own." Sasuke pulled away.

"What are you doing here?" Naruto mumbled.

"I'm here showing some exchange students around. They just showed up yesterday. They are also from Japan...in fact I knew them in elementary." Sasuke stepped aside to reveal two boys. Kiba blushed while Shikamaru glared.

"This guy is Shino Aburame...he's pretty quiet though." Sasuke introduced.

"Yo..." Shino waved. Kiba gulped as he tried to look through the man's glasses.
