Sa halos dalawang linggo kong pananatili sa bahay ni Zevero, na-realize ko na talagang magulo ang ugali niya.

He has the most unpredictable mood.

"Kyla..."

I stopped eating my banana chips and looked at Zevero when he suddenly entered our room. I raised my eyebrow.

"Let's have sex," he said while staring at me with serious eyes.

I forgot to tell that most of the time, he's horny.

Well, I don't know. Maybe he's just too eager for me to get pregnant.

I shook my head. "Seriously... My body isn't built like yours. Napapagod din naman ako... And for sure, mabubuntis na rin ako. I mean, we've been doing it everyday..."

He rolled his eyes. He sat beside me and took the banana chips I was eating. Napaawang na lang ang labi ko nang siya ang kumain no'n.

"You don't get it, Kyla. We have to do it everyday. We have to form the baby's arms, feet, head—"

"That's not how it works, Zevero." I raised my eyebrow. "Absent ka ba sa science class noon?"

He just stared at me and took a bite on my banana chips. "I rarely went to school in the past. I had more absences. I didn't even finish high school," he said as if it was nothing.

I gasped and looked at him with disbelief. "R-really? You didn't go to college? I thought you finished college and..." I stopped. I'm literally speechless.

Napangisi siya. "Turn off ka?" tanong pa niya.

"N-no... I mean, you're still successful. I just didn't expect it." I cleared my throat. "Well, honestly... Turn off na naman ako sa'yo noong una pa lang tayong nagkakilala."

Napatitig ako sa kanya na abala sa pagkain ng banana chips ko... Hindi ko talaga in-expect na hindi siya nakapagtapos. Wala naman 'yong kaso sa akin. Hindi ko lang talaga inaasahan.

"Why are you staring at me like that? Are you looking down on me because you're a dentist?" he asked and grinned at me. He doesn't seem mad or insulted.

"No. Why would I even look down to a famous billiards player and sports agency owner... to someone who's a million times richer than me?" I asked in a sarcastic tone. "I mean, I really understand that not all people have the privilege to pursue and finish their education. Education is important, yes... but someone's education background doesn't matter to me and I won't judge or belittle them because of that, unless they're politicians."

Zevero smirked while staring at me. "I bet you're the nerdy type when you were a student."

"Well..." I bit my lower lip. "Kinda? I mean... I wore huge glasses and my world revolved around studying back then... I didn't even have friends. It's my choice though, and I didn't regret it. I want to focus on something important. That time, education and its fruit was the most important to me."

Zevero took another bite on my banana chips. I rolled my eyes and snatched my banana chips from him.

"I'm just curious... You seem smart for someone who didn't finish high school," I muttered.

"Well... I'm a genius. I've been exceptionally smart ever since I was a kid. I was homeschooled for about three to four years."

"Paano ka nakapagpatayo ng sports agency? How did you manage that? I mean, is it because you earned a lot of money from billiards?" tanong ko pa.
