The most contentious day in each family's reign had arrived as the sun arose.

Everyone is busily setting up for Irene and Greggy's wedding ceremony. Media outlets and the public are all eager to see what happens ahead in the marriage between the two individuals.

The bride has just gotten dressed in her wedding gown, and it's just an hour until they assemble at the church to begin the ceremony.

Habang naghihintay si Irene ay nakatanggap siya ng text mula kay Miguel.

From: Miguel

'rene, pwede bang mag-back out? Si Bong lang ang kilala ko rito. Pakiramdam ko, any minute from now bubulagta na ako. Ang talim makatitig ng groom mo sa akin, parang ang laki ng kasalanan ko sa kaniya!

Natawa si Irene nang mabasa niya ang mensahe galing sa kanyang kaibigan. And she composed a reply.

To: Miguel

Bawal na mag-back out. Ang arte mo! Mabait naman siya, huwag mo na lang pansinin. I will text Bong not to leave you alone. Kawawa ka naman

Saktong bumukas ang pinto nang maibaba ni Irene ang kaniyang cellphone. Nilingon niya ito at nakita si Imee na malawak ang ngiti.

"Ang ganda naman," puri ni Imee habang naglalakad palapit sa kaniya.

"I know right. I'm not Irene Marcos for nothing." she confidently answered.

Imee smirked, "Na magiging Araneta na? Masyado kang confident ah!"

Irene rolled her eyes when she realized what her sister said. She looked at herself again in the mirror and then caressed her wedding gown.

"Dapat magbigay ka na rin ng apo kay Mommy at Daddy." pang-aasar ni Imee.

"What are you saying, Ate? This marriage is only for the sake of the companies. Nothing more than that!" Irene hissed.

Natawa naman si Imee sa reaksyon ng kaniyang kapatid. "Ang init ng ulo mo... Malay mo lang naman, 'di ba? Hindi ka na bata,"

Napabuntong hininga na lamang si Irene sa pang-aasar ng kaniyang ate. Nagkwentuhan na may kasamang asaran pa muna ang dalawa hanggang sa magpaalam si Imee na pupuntahan muna niya ang kanyang mga anak. Maya-maya pa ay dumating din ang kanyang mga bridesmaid.

Greggy, on the hand, is having a good time with his groomsmen. Ngunit hindi talaga niya mapigilan na samaan ng tingin si Miguel.

"Greggy! Grabe ka naman makatingin kay Miguel!" singhal ni Bong nang mapansin niya na matalim ang titig niya sa lalaki.

Greggy chuckled, "Normal na tingin ko 'yun, Bong... Who is he? I hadn't yet seen him,"

"He's Miguel. Kaibigan ni Irene kaya huwag mong samaan ng tingin." natatawang sagot ni Bong. Greggy just laughed then he took his phone and texted his girlfriend.

To: Isabelle

Hi, hon! The ceremony is about to start. Love you!

The wedding coordinator called them to get ready for the ceremony after he finished messaging his girlfriend.

They arrived at the church quickly, and after just a brief period of waiting, the bride was said to be on her way, so everything was set to proceed.

A sense of solemnity and delight fills the air as the wedding ceremony progresses. The priest and ministers lead the way to the altar in the processional.

The wedding party quickly follows, including the groom, Greggy Araneta, and his best man Inigo Zobel.

Followed by the groomsmen, Bong, Jorge, Francisco, Alfred, Anton, Tommy, and Miguel.
