Days passed quickly and Irene was just as busy sometimes because of work and alliance with Adam.

Maagang naghanda si Irene para sa makapunta nang maaga sa kaniyang opisina. There's a sudden meeting scheduled with their board members and one of their investors, Adam.

Greggy noticed that his wife was in a hurry. Day-off niya ngayon kaya hindi siya nagmamadali at halos kakatapos lang maligo.

"Bakit parang nagmamadali ka?" Greggy asked. Irene glanced at him and continued what she was doing. "May meeting pala ngayon, I totally forgot and Adam's probably waiting for me outside my office."

Agad na kumunot ang noo ni Greggy nang marinig niya pangalan ng taong kinagagalitan niya. "What? Bakit kasama na naman 'yang si Adam? Urgent pa?!" he jested.

"I don't have time sa mga ganiyan mo, Greggy. I need to go... Mahuhuli na ako."

She was about to open the door when he spoke. "Ihahatid na kita. Para hindi ka na mahirapan," Irene looked at him in surprise.

"Hindi na, I'm fine. 'di ba, day-off mo ngayon? You stay na lang para makapa-pahinga ka. I have to go,"

Greggy immediately grabbed his car key from his desk and followed Irene. Greggy took the bag she was holding and Irene couldn't do anything but give him a stern look because he was so hard to talk to.

"Siguro nagseselos ka na naman kaya ka nagpumilit na ihatid ako." Irene started while they are inside the elevator.

Greggy just glanced at her and rolled his eyes. "Sungit!" she hissed. Nang makarating sila sa parking, Greggy opened the door for her and slid himself inside the driver seat.

Tahimik lang sila sa byahe dahil si Irene ay abala sa kaniyang cellphone habang si Greggy ay pasimpleng sumusulyap sa kaniya. Umaasang kakausapin siya ng asawa.

"Sabi ko naman sa'yo, kaya ko nang mag-drive. Sana nagpapahinga ka na lang sa bahay ngayon. Tigas kasi ng ulo mo na seloso ka eh!"

Tiningnan lang niya si Irene at hindi na pinansin. "Tell me the truth nga! Bakit ka nag-insist na ihatid ako?" she asked again. "Dapat nga sinusulit mo na lang ang day-off mo o 'di kaya puntahan mo ang girlfriend mo. Mag-date kayo."

"Isabelle's outside the country. May inaasikaso sila and what's the big deal kung ihatid kita? Asawa mo naman ako at bakit kailangan hintayin ka pa ni Adam sa labas ng office mo o kailangan ba na sabay kayo?"

Irene chuckled, "Oh, edi lumabas din ang totoo. You're jealous of Adam. Para naman sa trabaho iyon, Greggy. Napaka-seloso mo talaga kahit kailan," she rolled her eyes at him.

Greggy remained silent until they arrived at Marcos Empire. Agad na namataan ni Greggy si Adam na nakatayo sa labas ng building dahilan ng pagkainis niya.

He went out to open the door and assist his wife out of the car. Adam can clearly see him caring for Irene. "Do you want me to accompany you sa office mo?" Greggy asked.

"No need... Kaya ko na, hindi naman mabigat iyan." she simply replied and took her things from her husband. Nakita ni Greggy na papalapit si Adam sa kanila kaya hinawakan niya agad si Irene sa bewang.

Irene tapped his arm on her waist as they walked towards the entrance where Adam was. "Napaka-seloso talaga nito. Everything is all about work, okay?" she whispered but Greggy didn't seem to hear her.

"Good morning, Mr. Araneta. It's nice to see you with Miss Irene." Adam greeted and offered his hand to shake Greggy's.

Irene might get angry or disappointed if he didn't accept it so he forced a smile and shook Adam's hand. He still didn't remove his hand from her waist and brought her closer to him.
