Mia snapped at the comment.

"What, are you scared of him? He's too weak to do anything!" Mia yelled, finally fed up with him commanding her to do things he needed.

"He's stronger than you think!" Ralo returned, "Plus I've been the one to deal with him while you fancied yourself with the driver's seat!"

"What do you mean?! You asked me to drive the dragoturkey yesterday! I can leave just as easily as Yugo did and you won't stop me as easily as you did with that sick pig!"

"You can't leave Mia! You'll get sick in the cold as well!"

Mia ignored him and walked off in the other direction. Ralo locked the door to the wagon from the outside to keep Yugo in. He portaled in front of Mia to stop her.

"What happened to 'we got there unharmed', Ralo?" Mia asked sarcastically. Ralo tensed, feeling more snow begin to fall.

"I'm trying to keep us safe here, Miss. You can't run off you'll-"

Mia jumped on him, knocking them both down a hill away from the dragoturkey. As they rolled to the bottom, they were coated by snow from the last nights. Mia landed on top of Ralo as they stopped rolling and he punched Mia in the throat.

Mia instantly let go of Ralo and he took the advantage to portal back to the top of the hill. From there, Ralo saw her clearly and aimed his shot at her with disturbing memories of the circle in Emrub flowing through his mind. He suddenly remembered how he made a vow to never use portals in combat ever again.

As Mia run up the hill, Ralo decided to go for physical combat rather than portals. He readied himself as she approached him. He swiftly jumped above her and kicked her midback to catch her off-guard. He landed perfectly in the snow.

Mia screeched out as she fell to the side and stayed in the snow in defeat.

"I said that I didn't want to fight Mia," he sighed to her, "I'm professionally trained in combat and knew this before." Mia sat up in the snow and pulled Ralo's scarf in resistance as he tried to walk away. He stopped and stared into the distance.

Because she had no reaction from Ralo, she pulled harder, and ripped the scarf off his head. This time, he turned fiercely which gave Mia a twisted feeling. She saw his hands itching to hold something, but also saw resistance in his eyes. Mia knew something was off about him. As he summoned a sword in his hand, Mia set down the scarf with nothing in mind.

A suddenly heavy breeze blew Ralo's messy unkept curls around as he leaped at her. He had a look of determination in his eyes that signified that he wouldn't let her out unharmed.

More suddenly, Mia noticed Ralo looking as if he "snapped out of it". He tried to redirect his sword, but still cut and deep wound into her forearm. He took the crimson-dipped sword in his other hand and looked at it terrified. He let the sword disappear and looked at Mia gripping the wounded arm harshly.

He blinked before stuttering, "I didn't- I mean I- Forgive me, please..." He dashed to the side to grab his scarf before running. He left Mia in the snow and drove the dragoturkey away himself.

As he moved on, he thought of what he had seen. He was so confused. One second he was walking away, and next he had a bloody sword in his hands. He would come back and ask her later.

He stopped, suddenly realizing what was going on.

A memory of Qilby handing him a scarf came back to him. From what he knew, his eyes widened as he looked up at the tall figure. Qilby quietly whispered to him, "I'm sorry I've taken these years from you, Ralo. I will fix this mistake, my dear child, if you never remove this scarf. I trust you."

A tear streamed down his face as he walked away. Young Ralo stood in silence as he looked at a small square of paper in his hand that read a single word: Kolor. The scene ended.
