Ralo stopped writing. 'There was a plan that was formed before the seventh day of week three hundred seventy-one. If I can go back and find when it was written, I might get my answers.'

He searched for the dates for around thirty minutes until finally finding the right entry. He sighed as he thought about what he had done.

Ralo's first thoughts were how his parents taught him. They were strict and pushed him to his limits. He reached the schooling required levels as he turned seven, six years before the average. His schooling for basic skills such as math and science were also finished.

He had left his parents during his thirteenth birthday. It was the only thing he knew for certain. He remembered fore visions of being attacked by a young entrepreneur who offered him a job. He had run into the forest and cried for hours.

Sadly, he lost years of memories only two months before Yugo woke up.

Tuto was his friend from childhood and the only person he ever confided in. Now she had betrayed him.

He had been forgetting a lot of things recently, as well. He had no idea of what happened to Mia, Tuto, or Madellinn!

With these things in mind, he sighed and read the entry.

Project Scar

The third day of week three hundred fifty-seven.

To my older protégé.

It is the end of the sixth year in my studies for this project. It feels too soon to have it be my dear protégé's nineteenth birthday. I know he doesn't realize the time that has passed because of the curse, but I need to apologize for stealing his years of childhood.

Elmen, again, has taken power from my protégé in his sleep. If Elmen truly plans to take all his power, it will take him until at least week four hundred twenty-seven. In addition, I might have to rebel. For this reason, I have finally finished my great plan. In the case that I fail, I have left this to you, my great protégé. I believe that no one should have access to this writing that you, assuming they find it.

Because I am the only member of the citizenship not marked by the eternally bleeding scar, I will be able to abandon the ones I work with the easiest.

Depending on the current day and time, you may or may not have been provided with the enchanted scarf I have spent months on. Do not lose it. Once you have possession of the scarf, I will take a code name.

My goal is to influence the government. I wish that you pursue a simpler life of a communicator or of a citizen. I will send Tuto to be your companion. She is only a simple civilian with governmental links. The people of Elger Nouvelle respect this person and view her as a kind of mayor, despite Adamai's rule.

I will erase both of your memories so that you will know two things: You grew up with your parents until you became thirteen and lost any memory after then, and your scarf is your most valuable item and must be protected by keeping it with you.

But this will only be the case if I succeed. Assuming I fail, you might be cursed with nightmares about both your future and past. Luckily, no one will believe you. Tuto will not experience these dreams.

Reading this might overwhelm you. I assure you that only me and you have read this letter and that we are the only people who ever will. And, if you are my protégé, you will have come to the conclusion that this is the case. If you still doubt me, I will only ever write your name in this one letter. So, may you keep safe with this information I have provided, Ralo Colcourtay.
