Whilst looking for the Taiwanese guy at the gym, Sana's words couldn't help but to repeat inside Momo's mind.

"What does he mean by 'save myself from the pain'?" She wondered, but still couldn't figure out what the male Japanese student meant.

The Japanese girl scratched her head furiously out of frustration. Her curiosity for Sana's words couldn't get out of her system.

"Argh, he's probably just slandering Tzuyu to keep me from being interested in him. Flash news, playboy, I'd rather marry a jokbal than any of you two." Momo concluded, trying to get the thought out of her mind.

She decided to just set it aside and focus on her main goal; find Chou Tzuyu.

Which wasn't that much of a hard task, much to Momo's surprise.

As soon as she entered the gymnasium, she saw the tall guy by the bleachers alone, eating his lunch slowly as he stared straight at nowhere.

Momo tried to stifle a laugh as she looks at Tzuyu, completely zoned out to even notice the girl from down below near the door.

Although she've said it a million times that she'll never be interested in anyone, especially Tzuyu and Sana, she finds the former rather cute, being in his own little world and all.

But enough of those nonsense, as what she addressed of it as. Momo finally decided to approach the younger to have a talk, as what she had planned from the very beginning.

Only when Momo was a few steps away did Tzuyu notice her figure walking towards him. He was a bit surprised at her sudden appearance.

"What are you doing here? How did you know where I am?" Tzuyu immediately bombarded her with questions.

His brothers in sport clearly understood his privacy, so there's no way that they'll reveal his alone spot to a stranger.

Momo made sure to keep her word; to not say anything about Sana telling her where the tall guy was. "Chill, I just figured you'd be here since I know you're a baseball player. I just need to settle some things with you."

Tzuyu raised a brow at Momo's answer and asked her, "Things? What things?"

"Your offer before when I was talking to the headmaster. I'd like to know what your deal is with it."

Finally understanding what the girl meant, Tzuyu brought his lunch down, placing it beside him, and kept his attention towards Momo.

"Ah, I see. I don't know if I'd still want to keep that deal, though. You put up such a harsh attitude towards me." Tzuyu chuckled, trying to tease the girl in front of her for a bit as a payback for declining his offer earlier.

"Look, I'm sorry for being rude towards you before. I was just very stressed about what I've been currently going through." Momo admit guilt sassily, but Tzuyu could tell she was genuine about her apology.

"Alright, apology accepted. Why don't you take a seat first so we could talk about it properly? You look a bit uncomfortable standing up for that long." The tall guy let out a smile and tapped the spot beside him, motioning for Momo to sit in that place.

Momo had to admit, although she stays perfectly fit, she couldn't stand up for too long because of her weak legs. It was a kind gesture of Tzuyu to notice her discomfort.

As soon as she sat down and made herself comfy, Tzuyu started talking his thoughts out.

"Not to be boastful but... you know how I had a lot of admirers, right?" Tzuyu chuckled as he saw Momo rolling her eyes at how he started the conversation.

"Your fans had made it clear, thank you very much."

Tzuyu laughed and continued, "Right. But despite that, I don't have that much friends that I could trust with my personal life."

"What about Sana?"

"I don't think he understands when I meant I needed comfort. He doesn't know the words to say when I'm down and tends to just joke around to make me smile, even for a bit. No offense to him or anything, but I just need someone who would listen to me when I rant my heart out."

Momo nodded, comprehending Tzuyu's words with ease. She know how it feels, as to why she now only tends to keep everything to herself.

"I figured, it'll probably be better if a only a stranger were to listen to my problems. The issue is, I wasn't able to find someone who would just listen and won't take interest in me."

Momo couldn't help but let out a giggle, "Must be tough to be an eye candy, huh?"

"You have no idea." Tzuyu chuckled, "I thought that would always be the case, until I met you."

"Me?"

"Mhm. You did not give a single fuck about Sana nor mine. I thought to myself, 'finally, I found the one'. To be able to convince you, I tried to help you out with your problem, just like how I intended to get to know you so you could help me with mine. But I guess you hate both Sana and I to ever agree to my deal."

Tzuyu's bitter chuckle emitted silence between them after. Momo couldn't help but feel guilty for rejecting his offer when all he wanted was help and give that help back.

Momo sighed, deciding to respond back to the younger guy. "Sorry. I just thought you were trying to get something selfish for your own way, that's why you offered me assistance."

"It's kind of a selfish request, not gonna lie. But I want to hear what you have to say about it. Are you willing to accept me as your tutor in exchange of being like my personal therapist?"

"If you put it that way-"

Before Momo could finish what she has to say, Tzuyu cut her off first to say something. "Don't worry. Like I said, you don't need to say anything back to me. Just let me let out my problems without a worry."

Hearing that from the tall guy, the Japanese girl made up her mind.

"Okay, I accept. But we shall never be seen in public or I would get demolished by your fans."

Tzuyu laughed and held out a hand, "Deal."

Momo accepted Tzuyu's hand and shook it as a sigh of their agreement.

"Have you had lunch yet?" The Taiwanese guy asked, setting his lunch box again on his lap so he could continue his meal.

"Not yet. I decided against it so I could have a word with you. Kind of regretting it now since I haven't had my breakfast earlier."

"That's bad for your health. Here." Tzuyu offered his packed lunch to Momo, who needed a minute to process what the younger did for her.

"Wait, no- what about you?"

"No worries. I had a protein bar before practice and I've already ate half of my packed lunch. You can have the rest." Tzuyu insisted as he wiped his chopsticks with tissue before handing it over to Momo.

"If you're sure..."

Momo quietly ate Tzuyu's meal, feeling a bit of shame for taking his supposedly lunch. Although the latter persist on it.

"If we're keeping the deal, we should be comfortable with each other. Let's start with a simple introduction." Tzuyu stood up and faced Momo with a smile.

He cleared his throat and offered his hand again as a sign of politeness, "Chou Tzuyu, 1st-year, baseball player and the youngest heir of the Chou family. Willing to help you study in exchange for assistance towards me."

Momo almost dropped the chopsticks she was holding as soon as she heard his introduction, realizing that she never thoroughly knew who Tzuyu was.

"Wait- You're just a 1st-year student?! I can't believe you're my junior!"
