George's POV
It has been a week since the incident. My waist felt much better ever since. But my mind kept coming back to why Venom would want to kidnap me. I still couldn't figure what could have been the reason from all of his.

All the villains I've encountered with, all wanted to get me. Starting with the octopus lady, then the timer dude, and now Venom. I was starting to think someone at the lab where we went for a field trip had something to do with all of his. Maybe I could do some research and go to the lab on my next patrol. Beside I haven't been on patrol for the past days.

I was walking to the school library, expecting to see Bad. He must have wondered where I was since I haven't gone in the library for so long. As I was now roaming around the library, trying to find Bad since he wasn't on his usual spot.

As I was making my way through the bookshelves, I heard familiar voices coming from a corner.  Curious of who it might be, I made way closer to the source of the voices. To my surprise, it was Minx and Clay. A mixed feeling rose in my chest. I had no idea of what it was, it seemed like a pretty new feeling. Anger? Sadness? Perhaps possessiveness? But "why?" is the real question.

As I leaned in more to hear their conversation, I could tell that Clay was rather angry at Minx. "I know you have some bad intentions towards George. Don't even think of hurting him." That voice I recognized as Clay's sounded very threatening. To be honest, I agreed with the blond. She was bad news, my spider part could tell it a millions of time.

"I don't want to do anything bad. But is it bad to hang out with him and ask for his help? After all he is a genius, why not use this knowledge to help people?" Minx defended back, she seemed pretty confident and not scared by the blond's intimation. Clay tried to speak but she cut him off "And you don't get to say what I can do nor what I can't. What do you think the soft little nerd is gonna do if I told him you're only using him because you're failing classes? He would leave you all alone." She added. Was I the soft little nerd? And Clay wasn't using me... Was he?

"He wouldn't believe you and I am not using him in any way. I... I-" Clay argued, hesitating to say the rest of what he thought. "You love him? I know that" Minx finished for him, a smirk placed on her face. My cheeks went slightly red and Clay's as well. Wait... When he asked me to go out with him, that didn't mean he wanted to hang out like I assumed.... No he wanted to go on a date. I'm an idiot.

"But who do you think he would believe? The new student who is kindly asking for help or the bully?" Minx spoke, bringing my mind back to the discussion they were having. "H-how" Clay protested back, not knowing what to reply to the raven haired girl. "What will your mother think if she knows that you're both a failure AND a bully. Arabella would be very disappointed" Minx added her evil smug face staying intact. The anxiety from the blond seemed to be rising.

"How do you know my mother?" Clay asked, ensure of what to think. I couldn't get myself to think as well after all of the revelations from earlier. "That is none of your business. And if you persist, I would take a pleasure destroying your relationship with George. Is that clear?" How could someone be so cruel? I thought she was a good person even with my spider sense ringing every time.

My feet started walking on their own, I was backing away from the scene. But then my back hit another bookshelf and some books fell onto the floor. I immediately panicked. The two seemed to have hears me. I turned myself invisible and crawled my way to the ceiling. I took deep breaths hoping none of them would notice me if I accidentally turned visible.
