The next few months after returning from Alola was spent with their Pokemon and moving around Kanto to visit friends. Samuel, Delia and Emmaline were delighted to have Ash and Gary home for longer than a month and spent a lot of time with him. That is till Gary was called to Hoenn for help with translating a few old texts found in an old Temple which apparently belonged to Mew. Gary agreed to check it out and Ash spent the next few weeks bored out of his mind when he was not spending time with his Pokemon. The days were very slow without Gary by his side and there were only so many outings he could go on with his mothers.

Ash, 'Maybe I should go to another region?'

Pikachu, -He is bored and so am I.-

Venasaur eyed him, -You just fought a challenger yesterday.-

Pikachu, -I or rather we will happily give up one of the titles we have to another person if it means less paperwork.-

Blastoise, -Paperwork keeps Ash busy but not for long and he gets bored again.-

Sylveon, -He just misses Gary, you know that. Video calls can only do so much in a relationship.-

Gyarados, -Perhaps Ash should travel again. Till Gary returns at least.-

While the Pokemon were busy making plans contemplating over a few solutions, Delia called for Ash to come over. She told her son to take a bath and get ready as they were headed to Vermillion City. Ash perked up curious about the reason and went to get ready, he could hear his mom tell his ma, where they were heading for the day. Emmaline did not mind and asked them to be careful as Team Rocket was being a nuisance again, to which Ash made an annoyed face. It seems they never learn from the past failures, they were so stubborn and set in their ways.

Kukui and Brunette always called him, Gary and Bonnie keeping them updated about the pregnancy. In the meantime, Delia and Ash met with Professor Cerise who was the newest Professor on the scene. It was a very interesting meet up especially when Lugia appeared and that too, not just any Lugia but Silver's mother. She was bored after Silver had grown up and left on it's own journey and decided to visit Ash. It had come as no surprise to everyone when Lugia had hugged Ash and nuzzled him before challenging him. Delia and Samuel gave a sigh in exasperation, they were wondering how the other adults would take that news.

Lance wanted to bang his head on the wall at the news, while Gold whined about the unfairness of it all. Red and Green only looked at each other and decided to give everyone a heads up in the group chat. Kukui and Brunette did not require the heart attack this early, especially not after finally accepting the fact one of their adopted sons is a Legendary bait. In Kalos, Bonnie could only laugh a little uncomfortably as she was basically being cuddled by Yvetal. Her family plus Diantha trying to get the God of Death to let Bonnie go and Diantha half wondering what her life is now.

Gou was excited, "You, I heard about you before. I am Gou."

Ash smiled gently, "Nice to meet you Gou. Seems Lugia likes you."

Gou's cheeks turned pink, "You think so?"

Ash, "She would not have allowed you to ride her otherwise."

Gou blinked, "She? Her? Um.. Lugia is female."

Ash smiled looking at the video, "This one is Silver's mom."

Samuel, "Silver? Oh, you mean the baby Lugia from Jhoto?"

Ash smiled with a nostalgic look, "Yes, she shared some information. Silver is an adult now and is on a journey to prove himself as an adult."
